I had emailed ahead to book a place on the distillery tour and arrived to discover that I was the only person on the tour! However, it didn't stop the person showing me around from being extremely helpful. She really knew her stuff unlike some tour guides who have clearly memorised their words. I enjoyed my dram at the end... More

We stopped here on our whisky tour in the north Scotland it's another great distilery and a must visit, we only did the shop as we had to get to our ferry to Orkney but a great shop to visit needless I bought a bottle of the navigation and also a 12 year old so a good start, would recommend

Didn't know what to get my dad for his birthday so booked a tour. The Australian lady that was our tour guide was friendly & informative. As we live locally we had never thought on going. I would recommend to locals & visitors to the area. The tasting at the end was lovely. We fair enjoyed it.

The people at Pulteney were so warm and friendly to us. The workers clearly put a lot of heart in to their workplace and a lot of pride in their ways of production. We asked both the tour guide as well as some of the workers about their production, and they were all very enthusiatic to talk about all the... More

Fabulous venue. Learned first hand what it takes to make the finest whisky, and then got to sample it. Friendly and welcoming staff. Going through the distillery during production a treat.

Unfortunately not one of my most memorable distillery tours. Tour seemed a little rushed to me and the guide was tryIng to explain things in what was a very noisy area at some points during the tour. If I'm being perfectly honest I found it a little bit strange to be taken around the most northerly mainland distillery by an... More

Excellent small distillery run by a small staff of extremely helpful and knowledgable people. The place was originally designed by Thomas Telford and has a very rich atmosphere coupled to a lovely smell of whiskey and malt mash. It is a very traditional process and easy for the visitor to understand. The option to bottle your own purchased whiskey from... More

Girl was very knowledgeable and we had a nice tasting session. I could resist buying a small bottle of their 12 year single malt which is lovely (and relatively affordable for a Single Malt). Well worth a visit if you are in the area to learn more about Whiskey
