The mountain railway is terrific with great staff too who are prepared to have a chat. The centre at the top apart from the views has a great exhibition floor with excellent information on the geology and the fauna of the area. Sip good coffee or chocolate at the cafe and watch the skiers and boarders. In summer there are... More

I have to base all of my reviews on the fact that I am a full time wheelchair user. The staff at the stations top and bottom could not have been more helpful. For once we thought that we had picked a good day to go up. Suddenly there was a snow storm and we descended from the top station... More

7 of us had a good time on the funicular railway. The views were stunning. Quite pricey if you are not going up to ski etc. Shop at the top good. No too impressed with the food on offer. Could offer more variety and cheaper. Well worth the visit. More

6th highest mountain and well worth the trek. Walk up to the mountain restaurant and the greeting is like you have found a long lost friend, so friendly, good food and a spectacular view. Brilliant day out More

Had a great trip up on the funicular railway with some stunning scenery. Well worth it. Staff were really friendly and the hot chocolate in the cafe at the top was well worth the trip alone. More

We walked up Cairngorm via the challenging route as part of our Munro bagging trip and found it to be a lovely walk with great scenery and we were lucky enough to have a great view that allowed us to see for miles until the weather turned a bit foul but it was very worthwhile. More

Enjoyed our visit to Cairngorm mountain, using the railway to travel up and down, would like to have the option to take the train up and walk down but this is currently not possible. The cafe at the top has nice views but food isn't the best and cafe could be better. Views were very limited the day we visited... More

Great for views on a clear day, plus snow. Cafe at the top can be busy and a little poor. Better places in Glenmore like Mor in the visitors centre More

Really enjoyed out trip up and down the cairngorm mountains. It had snowed whilst we were there so the mountains looked stunning. Helpful staff and a nice and reasonably priced reastaurant helped make our day enjoyable More
