It was very good to see the Osprey but my visit was spoilt by a volunteer who was enthusiastic but annoyingly noisy. Loch of the Lowes, near Dunkeld, offers better views of Osprey. More

Large hide with TV screens showing live action or recordings if nothing is going on. Caper Watch great value as only £1 for RSPB members. Extremely helpful staff who do their utmost to make sure everyone gets a look at the Ospreys or Capers. The Eco friendly toilets were a bit hard to stomach! More

Went in time to see the fledged chicks flying around the area. Great to be able to watch video from earlier in the season. Had a close encounter with a red squirrel and great photos of a woodpecker. More

We always visit EJ and Oden whilst in Aviemore but this year they were upstaged by the Capercaille. There were in fact 3 two on the ground which could only be seen via the cameras and one in a tree which you could see through the binoculars. The volunteers from the RSPB catch you with their enthusiam. Great way to... More

This place has one function, to allow you to see the osprey in their natural setting. If birds are your thing then this is a must. Free for RSPB members, £4 for adults, all goes to the RSPB. We found this really interesting and also a good place to take a walk round the loch. More

I visited this weekend and could have written Alcina2s revew! The price is only £1 for RSPB members and £3 for non-members... but would I go again? No - see the review below for the reasons why. More
