Follow your guide as they lead you up to the reindeer's mountain enclosure. Once there, your guide will tell you all about the reindeer and you can walk amongst them, stroking them and feeding them by hand.Don't fancy the hill trip? For those less able, from Easter to New Year, we have a small group of reindeer in the paddock at the Centre itself. For younger visitors, there is a quiz, you can make your own badge, or make an antler headband. « less

My three companions had misgivings until we were told that we would be able to feed the reindeer by hand. Then we enthusiastically paid our pounds and joined the group. It is a very short drive and then a beautiful walk to the reindeer pen. The guide is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. He took us into the pen filled with... More

This was an experience that my son (12) and I really enjoyed. The walk to the reindeer was lovely. The staff really knew their reindeer and tailored the information according to who they were talking to. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to all ages !

Our guide was extremely friendly, informative, and knowledgeable about reindeers. You can see the staff here really has a passion for caring for the reindeers. She seemed to know every reindeer by name although we couldn't tell one part from the other! As reindeers are animals in the wild, they can get messy so bring wellies. This trip is so... More

The centre doesn't look much and I thought the price seemed high for what it was but I was WRONG! We also saw our first red squirrel here too outside the building pinching thing off the bird table.The... More

I didn't know I loved reindeer until this trip. Do it, it is fantastic. You get to go out into the hills. A HERD, a whole HERD, of reindeer is summoned and you can pat and feed them to your heart's content. Best day ever.

Watching these magnificent creatures is delightful. So majestic and yet so peaceful. Well organised operation gives a great insight into these animals over the last sixty or so years.well worth a visit.
