I'm not really a gardener but i can appreciate their beauty. And Inverewe garden most certainly does not disappoint ! We visited on a very hot and beautiful July day and the place most definetely looked Mediterraen ! Very well kept, beautiful garden with some stunning views on the loch. There are free guided tours, which we didn't take, but... More

We have been visiting Inverewe for almost 50 years and over the last few years the garden has been looking a bit sorry for itself, though admittedly we have not always seen it at the best time of year. We have just visited again and are delighted to report that it is looking really good again, particularly the veg and... More

I am so glad we went here and they kindly allowed us to borrow the 'scooter'. Lovely lovely gardens, and the meal we had was good albeit a little pricey but we expect that from the National Trust. The best bit was meeting up with the manager, quite by accident, at the chemists before we went as he was able... More

We made a point of sailing all the way up from the Clyde to Loch Ewe to visit these gardens recently and were not let down. Even though dogs are not allowed there is a super walk in the estate where you can take them off the lead, also great views over the gardens and loch from the path. I... More

I simply love these gardens and have visited them many times in the past. But I have to admit that I am an avid gardener and enjoy looking at trees, plants and marvel at the ability to have such a beautiful garden. This time I was organised enough to be there for one of their free tours (every day at... More

We enjoyed walking through the gardens of great variety. There were many unique plants and flowers and we especially liked the blue peonies. The Rhododendrons were in full bloom and spectacular. There were many paths to walk and all were well marked including the difficulty of the walk. It was a long drive for us to get there but well... More

The gardens here are so great. There are so many different types set out in the many area's ie, Rhododendron Walk, Japan, The Walled Garden. You could go on and on. Finding out the history of the gardens and how they were created was really good to. There is so much to see here, we only managed about half ourselves,... More

The Inverewe Garden is a really lovely attraction, developed right on the side of the loch and thus surrounded by wonderful views over the water. The gardens have something to appreciate in all seasons. On our most recent visit in June, we enjoyed remaining rhododendrons, blue Himalayas poppies, numerous spectacular shrubs and trees and the extremely well maintained walled vegetable... More

We visited the gardens, after a long drive to get there. If anyone is expecting formal gardens, they will be disappointed. The gardens are laid out in different countries and the views are lovely. We had decided to have our lunch there, as we have been having picnic lunches most days. We saw a sign in the shop advertising Scottish... More

A lovely garden supported by the National Trust. Splendid walks of 20 to 35 minutes round trips including one to a meandering river and waterfall and one overlooking Loch Fyne. Well worth a visit.
