This pub is the wrong side of the motorway for visitors to Glasgow city centre, but it is well worth the effort to visit. It has a pleasant ambiance, good food but most of all great beer. All credit to the cellarman, if you like real ale be sure to make this a place you visit when in Glasgow more
I have been to the Bon Accord on a few trips to Glasgow. The real ale is always in tip top condition which is unusual since they always have 6 beers on cask. Traditional boozer feel without being grotty. Good prices for pints, hopefully will visit this weekend when staying at the Mennzies Milton Hotel. Also handy pub for Premier... more
A traditional scottish alehouse at its best. Amazing range of well-kept cask ales, first class well-priced bar meals, huge range of Malt whiskies, good wine list and knowlegable friendly bar staff. Off the shopping trail, (though not far from the Tenement House [National Trust for Scotland]) surrounded by office blocks & beside the M8 motorway, but definitely, definitely worth seeking... more
