Called in for a couple of pints out of the pouring rain just in time to see Scotland concede a last-minute try and lose to Italy in the Six Nations. Apart from that, an enjoyable visit. Wide selection of real ales and a cosy, friendly atmosphere. The food menu looked good too but as we were en route to eat... More

We visited twice in a weekend trip to Glasgow, as featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide and a short walk over the motorway bridge from our hotel (Novotel Glasgow Centre). It was busy on both Friday and Saturday nights, but not unpleasantly so. Live music at 9pm on Saturday meant there were fewer places to sit, but it was a... More

I have recently gone back to the Bon Accord for the first time in 25 years and was not at all disappointed in the change over time. There remains an excellent selection of decent beers and a decent selection for the whisky drinker. The welcome is friendly and sincere. There are seasonal beers on offer and the usual euro fizz... This pub came highly recommended for those wanting reasonably priced wholesome pub food and real ales. Upon entering the pub it is clear there is a good atmosphere, friendly staff and pub meals that are priced not to offend. The bottles of wines were under £13 and it was possible to have a set 2 course meal for under £6.... More

Great pub just outside the centre of Glasgow. If you are staying at the Hilton or Marriott and don't fancy the overpriced, sterile atmosphere of the bar and restaurant then pop in here. Good vibe, no music, sky ports and the best malt whiskey collection I've ever seen. Just wish I liked the stuff!!

Visited with a group of friends for a 40th birthday party. Had a great weekend. The varieties of beers, ales and ciders kept everybody happy! Bar staff were great and the atmosphere was superb. Definitely worth a visit if in Glasgow. I'll be back!

This place is well worthy of the many awards it has won over the years. Great selection of Real Ales and Whisky's on offer. Live music on a Saturday night and friendly staff.

What a gem of a boozer. Cracking selection of real ales and next visit I will definitely be sampling some of the many fine whiskies on offer! Friendly helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. I never ate but the food looked good too!

To date, I have only visited The Bon Accord for a drink but I will be back to sample the food. It takes a little effort to reach The Bon Accord from the city centre but for an ale or whisky drinker that effort will be well rewarded, 10 casks ales to choose from on the day I visited and... More

After 40 years of supping real ale in the best pub in the universe, me and my drinking buddy took our wives and my daughter to the Bon Acc for dinner. First time I had eaten there and needless to say the service was 5 star and the quality was top notch. Excellent fresh haddock btw!
