Very enjoyable gig and evening, Felt safe and staff were excellent. No problem getting service, you have a choice of a bar upstairs or a larger area downstairs. So few of these places around, decent sound, and the quality of the acts over the years is renowned, though it is mainly smaller and/or local acts as you'd expect. Felt safe,... More

This venue is nice, small & friendly. There's a bar downstairs that does food so you can visit regardless of the concert schedule. You have to walk up stairs to get to the venue so not good for wheelchair users I'm afraid. The venue is small, the stage is only 30-40 cm high so it's nice and cosy. Audience is... More

Went to see few bands and loved the atmosphere and sound. Even though it was a sold out show it wasn't horrifically packed wall to wall. Wish I wasn't driving so I could have tried the massive selection of drinks and the food looked great from the ones lucky enough to get a table.

Large open downstairs bar area with a great atmosphere. Very small but great venue upstairs for 'up close and personal' gigs!

This was probably one of the best "dive" live music bars we have been to in a while. Everything about the place is gritty and loaded with history. We saw 3 acts perform and each one was truly amazing. One act - Strawberry Wine - was so young and so talented that they are sure to become a worldwide sensation.... More

Scotlands best small venue for live performances. An experience unlike any other. You are so close to the stage, feels so connected to the event.

Went for Raw Red on Wednesday. Paid £6 for it although I remembered that the website stated £5. The person at the bar where you get the ticket said that it's cheaper to get the tickets from the website although I vaguely recalled that there's a ticket surcharge for booking the tickets online. There were 3 bands who played at... More

I just loved this place! Food was surprisingly very good! Big choice of beers but a Belgian beer HEVERLEE? Never heard about it and I live in Heverlee BE! Unbelievably friendly and open people (staff and guests). The concert room is quite small and very cosy. Not enough women's toilets

We went to this classic place for a bite and to listen to some live music. Small venue where we could sit down on a bench, relax and listen to some good music by some upcoming talents that may become household names in a few years time.
