I went to King Tut's for the first time on Monday to hear my nephew's band, Broken Records. The atmosphere was great, the music was terrific and the toilets were spotless. What more could you ask for? A fun evening was had by all.

Visited the small venue Mecca on Saturday only to be charged full price (£12 each) half-way through the final set of the night. Great for the experience, felt royally ripped off finishing at 23:10hrs. Took my drinking elsewhere.

I had been to other Scottish / Italian restaurants in past but this one was a friend recommendation and hence I went their with my family. I ordered Chicken Burger w/ Chips and it was the best burgers I ever had across UK. It was freshly made and taste great. The restaurant also has a bar and offer wide range... More

I was here on the 23rd to see the blackout, nicely made venue although i must say it is rather small and cramped, i dont mind getting close and personal but this was a bit of a stretch. The bar staff were very nice and the young man made me a jolly good rum and coke! a very good experience,... More

If you want to get up close and personal to your favourite bands this is the place to see them! Drink prices reasonable bar staff could be a bit more aware on whom to serve when! Atmosphere was fantastic wish we had something like this in Newcastle. We didn't eat here but a lot of people around us were and... More

Really impressed with the 4 live bands playing at King Tuts yes it's not the biggest or poshest of venues but it makes up for that in other ways, great acoustics and a close intimate feeling. Nice to see the bands who have played wait and listen to the other bands. Really enjoyed the first band 'Team Solripe'. Would certainly return.

First time there last night and was really impressed with the experience. 4 live bands on which were really good. Easy enough to get served at the bar although I could see how it might become more difficult if there was a 'bigger' band playing with larger following. Having listened to live bands in various other venues I was impressed... More

Nice bar and concertt place which hosted some of the absolutely best british bands. I think it's the place where Oasis where signed. So it's classic ground, and the best part of it is that it's rather small which makes it personal and original - a must for any music lover!
