Sit here on a Nice Day and watch all that makes Glasgow pass by. There is always something going. Tourists love it, Couples and Friend love it, it a meeting place for all, and all types of humanity pass through it every day. It's George Square it's not Peace Square or any other stupid fanciful name and never will be... More

They keep promising to update George Square but we are still waiting. However having said that it is a good place to meet and lots of demo's and gatherings take place here now. The Glasgow people have renamed it Peace Square. In the summer it's nice to sit and people watch and we have our New Year Party here also... More

Good place to visit if in Glasgow - when we were there there was a big funfair in the middle - be sure to visit the Tapas restaurant nearby - and the Council offices and .... just walk about and enjoy it

Lovely place to visit. Lots of history still taking place here! While you are here make sure you take in the council chambers at the end of the square. All this, is right next door to Queen St. station.

Beautiful parliament buildings. The statues are a must see and then you can sit and relax on the benches and just people-watch.

Good place to sit and watch others. Grab a pasty from nearby Greggs and a can of coke. Nice cool place to hang around. Nice photo ops too.

Right in the heart of Glasgow, it is always a great place to stop off to relax or enjoy a picnic lunch.

George Sq is very central and a great place to sit and rest while visiting the city. There are plenty of interesting statues and a war memorial to look at. It also hosts many events and displays.
