We were in the George Square a number of times during the Commomwealth Games and just loved it. Plenty of thing a to see and keep you occupied. Close by shopping was excellent. Plenty of meal and drink options.

As a local to Glasgow, I am very pleased to see the red tarmac gone. It now looks great. Love how busy it is with people and the great atmosphere there. With hotels, pubs and shops all within 2 minutes of it, it's a great centre piece for Glasgow.

I have spent much of the last two weeks looking down on George Square from my wife's apartment during the Commonwealth Games and George Square has been an amazing experience. Busy 24 hours a day with people, performers and big G! I am sure its not quite this busy outside the games, but still its excellent I am sure.

You think of Goerge square like the heart of city centre. Its a fabulous site to visit espicially in a sunny day where you enjoy the sun. Its a vibrant spot nowadays because of the comenwoulth games. Here you can buy tickets for the games along with game official products. Also , there are some nice statue.

Despite George Square at heart of Glasgow, it is one of the most underrated and poor squares in Europe. There is nothing special to see except boring chairs.

I've never been to George Square before, so I don't know what it is like normally. But for the Commonwealth Games you have done yourselves proud. We managed to get a few selfies in front of the Big G. Then we spent a riduculous amount of money on merchandise from the tent- but when you think about it, it doesn't... More

Was here during the Commonwealth Games. Such a great atmosphere and many people using the square to socialize and spend time outdoors. Very great focal point for the community.
