The theatre has a simple layout ,box office right at the front door and every screen is well sign posted. However the seats are uncomfortable and the staff are very rude. Myself and my friend went to see the hateful 8. We found the screen easily and thought it must be okay just to go in. however after we walked... More

The staff were rude when there was no need for the cheek they were giving us. Won't be back again as the waiting times to get into a screen was ridiculously long and I wanted to leave before even getting in as it was so boring. The food and drink was also overpriced.

Went here last Wednesday to see The Hateful Eight in Screen 1. The film was great but i was impressed with the GFT too. Easy ticket collection at the box office. Only £1 for a soft drink compared with treble the price at Odeon/Cineworld. Walking into Screen 1 is very much like a trip down memory lane. Older jazz music... More

'A Nazi Legacy: What Our Fathers Did' is a film that explores the legacy of nazism on two Germans who were children during the war and both of whose fathers were very high-ranking Nazi officials responsible for the governance of Poland during the war and therefore for the deaths of many Poles and Jews in Poland. This is a harrowing... More

Visited on Christmas Eve afternoon to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" with the kids. In my opinion this is how a visit to see a film should be. If you are looking for the trappings of your local multiplex then this is not for you. This is all about enjoying the film. No popcorn or buckets of cola being slurped.... More

Having found myself with more time on my hands I asked my wife to take me into the Film theatre - not knowing what to expect. What a surprise. Brilliant building - full of history. Brilliant staff - attentive to detail and focussed upon customer satisfaction. Great value for money. The whole experience was such a refreshing change from the... More

A little gem of a cinema hidden in Glasgow city centre. Cinema shows some classic films throughout the year along with current releases. Venue is of an older style which is nice for a change from the norm. Christmas is undoubtedly the best time of year to visit this cinema as it shows feel good festive films from years gone... More

Love the theatre although today the room was cold. Had coffee and cake before the film. £7.80 for two coffees and one piece of cake! Robbers! I'll just go for the movie in future.
