Where else can you get this kind of event? Some top actors appear every now and then. I have been a few times and never been disappointed yet.
Play by Major Scottish Wordsmith - Peter McDougall . Superb dialogue . Witty one liners . Gripping story about brothers controlling their sister for their own ends?
Exactly what it says on the tin. Accessible theatre, nice food and a pint of whatever takes your fancy. Make sure to get there early to get a seat with a good view. I got there a few minutes before it started and sat in a booth to the side as the better seating was all full. Completely enjoyed myself.
Went to the summer panto today and it was a great laugh. What a great idea, theatre at lunch time. Great value too.
We went to see Alice in Poundland which was the Summer Panto at this converted church. We laughed a lot, enjoyed the pie and the pint and would definately go back again if we had the opportunity. The actors were superb, the setting was brilliant (the converted church also does a brilliant breakfast) and my bloody mary before the play... More
Only £10 for for all of above. I have gone to almost all of plays over the few years they have been running now. Well worth a visit for a bit of Scottish culture inside a lovely West End converted church.
Great location in Oran Mor in the West End. Offers established and aspiring playwrights the opportunity to have their work performed by excellent professional actors in a wonderful setting while the audience enjoy a pie and a pint (or glass of wine) during the equivalent of their lunch break
Just something that little bit special and alternative - the plays are always interesting and entertaining with a social slant ; a lovely, informal setting - very basic, literally a play, a pint (or wine or even soft drink) and a pie (or quiche if you prefer veg), Basic, low cost, friendly atmosphere. Will keep going.
