They gave us advice on other sight-seeing excursions. I bought a pair of sandles there, that were so wonderful, that the next summer I asked my friend, who... more

On the weekends the market lanes are busling with bargain hunters and the patter of the traders can be heard ringing through the streets. It has an almost magical atmosphere. Never have I seen... more

The stalls there seemed to be selling only used and second hand stuff. The general sense of apathy and lack of enthusiasm you could cut with a knife! I wouldn't bother... more

The Barras Market is only a 10 minute walk up Argyle Street. Once inside, you can expect to see very wide selection of indoor and outdoor stalls, which sell all types of goods to appeal for all ages and interests. There is a saying that you can find anything at the Barras and it's probably true. Here you can buy:... more
