Fantastic over 500+ stalls at the boot sale Meat Van on site, veg stalls all very cheap and good quality food. I've been going for a few years now and it's a bargain hunters paradise I'd highly recommend a visit it opens at 6am.

This "car boot" or car "loot" as it should be called is to be avoided unless your brave. It's dirty, smelly and unorganised. There are more "traders" trying to sell you cheap and nasty items eg. Shoes, cheap tools, car airfreshners, mobiles, loom-bands, dud batteries, out of date juice and crisps etc etc than ordinary punters selling genuine used goods... More

My first time at this market. And if I had more money on me I would have spent a fortune. Got some great bargains, on both new stuff and some second hand in the car boot areas. Friendly people, apparently some had been there since the early hours setting up and hours later they still had smiles and friendly manners.... More

Head to this car boot every time I'm visiting the area. Excellent and always bargains to find. Parking can be a pain on a sunny day so get there early!

There is everything in this place. Plenty of parking although I would get there early to get a close spot to the front. Most stall holders are very pleasant, a fair few will haggle with you. Bring plenty of plastic bags with you on the off chance they don't have any!

and don't forget to haggle -something you can't do in a shop!! What's the worst they can say?... REMEMBER TO WRAP UP WARM -ESPECIALLY if you're a seller...most arrive at 4/5am!!!

Truly unique experience. Bargains, many bargains, new, used, vintage, one off items, mass produced, everything you could think of and then some. There are regular traders and ordinary people clearing out their clutter and haggling is acceptable but not too much after all it is Glasgow. This is a multicultural market place and the best bargains are gone by 8am.... More
