Nice park located near to the Clyde tunnel. The park itself is reasonably kept but can be spoiled in areas by litter. The fossil grove is good and unique where you can see 300 million year old trees and the type of insects that lived amongst them.

This old quarry in the west end of Glasgow houses a uniquely preserved fossilised forest. Unbelievable and rarely visited. Last time I went it was 50p it's probably free now!

I was amazed to find this with a friend and also surprised that so many local had never heard of it. A must if you are interested in old (I mean prehistoric age) things and a must for children to experience. That the city of Glasgow made such an effort to preserve and protect these 11 fossilized tree trunks was... More

I am thrilled we persevered with the erratic FirstBus '4' service to get here. (The info on Firstbus own website and on their own bus map - as well as info the tourist info centre has is all wrong....in terms of bus stops it stops at, timings and prices!) Anyway in spite of all that we were so very glad... More

Nice walk and play area for the kids. Although it was busy the kids still enjoyed themselves as there was plenty to do.

This park just has to be seen to be believed. Everyone has their own view of what it is like. I walked through in what passed for our summer (it was raining again) & the different colours & scents were magic.

Victoria Park is a nice little park that beyond that has a free tennis court- bring your racket and ball and wait your turn; on the many occasions we went (mostly evenings and Saturday mornings) it was never too busy to get a game fairly quickly.
