Have been here many times with both sets of grandchildren. They love going into different rooms trying to different items. Always determined to find everything on list they are given when going in. Went one Christmas to see Mrs. Clause. Taken in to room with blazing fire and table set for Santa's return and had chat with Mrs. Claus. Really... More

It is worth a visit if you like this kind of houses. I was welcomed by the staff in the entrance area and the ladies in the upper floors were eager to tell me everything what they knew about the house and could answer all my questions. I've never seen such a friendly staff :D

Afternoon tea downstairs in the traditional kitchen restaurant at Pollok House. The Park is beautiful and the House is very interesting. Lovely baking and delicious snacks in the kitchen...a delightful experience with friendly and helpful staff, particularly Billy, the very cheerful and entertaining waiter. He was very helpful, as they all were. That, and the home baking, made our visit... More

Should anyone reading be contemplating a wedding here - go for it! No idea on price as I was only a guest but made for a different and very charming wedding ceremony and meal and evening. The wedding was held in the library - atmospheric and a lovely civil ceremony. There a lovely scenic grounds for photographs. We even got... More

Sunday afternoon visit. Volunteers really passionate about telling the story of each room. Beautiful building and the art collection is something to behold. Loved it. I am a National Trust member so I did not pay to get in but it is just a beautiful house in a fabulous setting.Worth the entrance fee if you are not a member.

Visited after going to Kelvinhall Art Gallery to see if the Tea Room would be suitable as a treat for my elderly Aunt. As a member of the National Trust I decided to maximise my membership fee while there. I was greeted by a very nice young man who told me the basic rules. I like to potter around these... More

This was my first visit to Pollock House. It is a beautiful building. Beautiful gardens & nice art work. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. I rated this visit okay as I have seen better, but I have also seen worse (Holmwood House).

Despite living only a few miles away and being NTS members it was when an American visitor suggested that she would like to see round Pollok House that we went for the first time in many years. We arrived just after it opened (11am) so we managed to get the last available empty space in the House car park. The... More

This is a National Trust house which took us approximately 3 hours to walk around completely. The house is interesting and displays a huge art collection. The gardens are very well kept and are a pleasure to walk around There is a gift shop, well priced, and a café Nice morning or afternoon to be had here
