This is definately a place to enjoy take time to soak in the Scottish scenery and the ambience. Don't just drive past take time to get out the car and allow all of the senses to take in the entire surrounding. A great place to walk, cycle, picnic or have lunch in on of the cafes or restaurants they are... More

Lovely place to walk around, especially if you have children or dogs. The shops and cafés are extremely expensive (£5.00 for a sandwich and £2.50 for a pot of tea) so it would be ideal if you bring a picnic. But if you visit the maid they have a little cafe that sell cheap pots of tea and sandwiches, cakes... More

Beautiful stunning loch, so much to do around it. We thought we would only be there about an hour where 5 hours later we left. Plenty of places for a picnic. Absolutely stunning sites to see. So much entertainment for all ages. Would decently recommend visiting here.

If you want to see the serenity of Scotland but don't want to go too far then this is the place to be. Its very quiet and a great place to go exploring the outdoors. If you want paragliding then there are plenty of hills also to take off from. Great place check it out

We visited Loch Lomond on a sunny, bright day. Armed with good hiking shoes, there are some very nice trails to walk on. The views from the higher altitude areas are unbelievable. The beaches are excellent for picnics. Was pleasantly surprised that there were so many options for Vegetarians in the cafes there.

I dropped in to ask a couple of questions about boat tours etc and they were helpful and friendly. A few small but sweet activities for kids.

We happened upon this beach and while the views were lovely, there was so much trash about it was quite disheartening. There are plenty of places to lay your blanket and cook out your food but lets just hope they clean it up a bit.
