This is a lovely lake surrounded by terrific scenery. The highlands in the background are a wonderful back drop for this beautiful spot. Take a hike if you can or a boat ride. The song about You take the High Road and I'll Take the Low Road was written about this lake.

Disappointed with size of loch and just a tourist shop that is quite pricey as you would expect due to people wanting their piece of famous location.

Loch Lomond is a lovely place to visit and the centre is a good place to start. The retired cruise ship nearby is nice to see and also worth a visit

Have visited many times. Great place, lovely and relaxing to walk around. Lomond shores at Balloch is a great place to visit, the shops and coffee shops are very good.

I went in the spring of 2010. Huge park to wander about. I was lucky enough to be with locals, so we got there by car, and took a boat around the loch for sightseeing. Very nice and relaxing place.

This was interesting giving information on the wildlife, history and geography of the area. Good interactive displays for children - think they cater to school groups with ranger led activities.

I took the train from Glasgow and visited the park and the Loch Lomond shores. It can be a bit too busy in the high summer season but spring and fall are not to be missed. The shops and restaurants at the Shores offer everything from an ice-cream cone to a full course meal. great place for the kiddos too.... More
