For the full cinema experience you must visit this place! You could even make a day of it if you are travelling far to make it worth the trip, by visiting the science centre next door! As always the food and drinks are way overpriced but that is to be expected. If you get a combo deal you won't get... More

I find the screen far too big. It is one of the largest in the UK but you are sitting so close to it, it is impossible to see it all. The sound is similar to other cinemas and is nowhere near as good as the IMAX in the odeon Braehead. It is only good for documentary type films and... More

Wow, wow, wow. You have never seen how good a movie could be until you have seen it at an imax in 3D. What a great experience. Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D at the imax, and loved every minute of it. First of all Guadians of the Galaxy is a very entertaining film, with lots of... More

Choose the right film,we saw Gravity there in 3D and I felt I was in space with them - even to the extent I felt a wee bit queasy (they tell you to close your eyes and it goes). It was fantastic. Months later we went to see Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow and I felt it was a... More

This is not an arts cinema and does not pretend to be, though it does have the standard range of interesting IMAX features such as Space Shuttle and Deep Sea science films. However, I use it for the likes of big Hollywood action films, this year including Godzilla, 300 Empire, Robocop 2014, Spider-Man 2, Edge of Tomorrow, and Maleficent. The... More

Easy access, plenty parking, huge screen and amazing sound. Since Cineworld took over they have made many improvements, the best for us is being able to select your seats when booking online, unlike the old way of having to arrive early and queue to hopefully get a descent seat.

Taking the family here is an amazing experience. You think you have seen 3d but this is exceptional. If you visit the science centre which is another fab adventure your ticket also admits you in to the iMax. The train in to the science centre is the easiest way to get there. You pass the new hydro built for the... More

Booked a ticket for the feature film along with entry to the Science centre next door, and got a good deal. We had never been to an imax before, and it was quite an experience! Toilets were a bit shabby, but you don't tend to spend much time there!

On the 15th March I went to see Hubble 3D with one of my friends at the IMAX during a visit to Glasgow Science Centre. We could have booked in through GSC, however as I am a Cineworld Card holder (who has been told on many occasions at the IMAX and at Renfrew Street that 45 minute films are free)... More

We've just been to see Gravity here in Glorious Imax 3d & it was just incredible. This cinema was made for a film like this so if you get the chance, take it. Seems expensive but it's really only a few pounds more than a regular cinema but it's just WOW!
