One of the best Imax experiences I have had.

I have been to the British Film Institute at IMAX in London. Which is widely acclaimed as the "gold standard" for IMAX, however I enjoyed Glasgow's much more. The screen at BFI... read more

We booked tickets with student discounts for 3 of our party (we were 8 in total). 2 of the students forgot to bring their ID. They were obviously of student age and they look reasonably intelligent, but management were not prepared to take our word for it and made us upgrade to full tickets, saying we should have read the... Hi, thanks for the review. It is a shame that you would give us such a low rating for your visit. As I'm sure you can appreciate, Student priced tickets are offered to those holding a valid student ID, as at any venue. If customers are unable to provide suitable identification then we are obliged to charge the full adult... More

I have been to the British Film Institute at IMAX in London. Which is widely acclaimed as the "gold standard" for IMAX, however I enjoyed Glasgow's much more. The screen at BFI is much cripser, larger and better, however the seating is poor there, you can't view the whole screen, even in the best seats, you are too close and... More

Watching a 3D film in IMAX is an awesome experience and cannot be replicated in an ordinary cinema. There are 'ushers' to ensure all seats are filled in a sensible, organised fashion so that there are no gaps or people having to step over other people's legs to get to an empty seat! As I am disabled my partner and... More

The 3d films in the glasgow imax are amazing compared to the regular cinemas who claim show 3d films. It is a little more expensive but it is worth every penny. We have seen many films here from harry potter, transformers, jurassic park etc and they were are amazing in 3d. Once you've been here, you will keep coming back.

Watched a movie here. Enjoyed the dramatic affects of the 3D. Good production and good organization.

Went here to see Jurassic World in 3D. It has the largest screen in Scotland and the sound was amazing. Would recommend a visit.

We went to watch Jurassic World and felt that we wanted to see it on a big screen. At £14.50 a ticket I expected more. The seats were torn and not comfortable at all. I'm under 5' so it wasn't too bad for leg room for me. However, my friend is 6'3" and was in agony as the seating was... More

The massive screen is fantastic and certainly worth the extra few quid. I am not a massive fan of 3D but the 3D in the imax is superb. Great that you get a discount on the starbucks with your unlimited card.

The biggest, meanest and the best IMAX screen in the world, the theatre at the quay should be on the check list of any cinema lover who visits the city of Glasgow. Having watched quite a number of films at this theatre, I can surely say that I have never experienced a movie better than the ones I did here.... More

I only go here if I have a voucher or am lucky to get free tickets here as it is expensive to watch a film here. Even if you have a cineworld card you need to pay a supplement. Love the seating as they are very comfortable and plenty of seats. The rows do curve towards the screen. Also love... More
