I was at Hampden Park to watch the Athletics at the Commonwealth Games and found it A nice stadium with a good views of the of the action. I found the prices for food and drink was ok but expensive but I don't know if that is normal or the prices set by the Commonwealth Games. The toilets where ok.... More

Final night of athletics at Hampden Park and over 40,000 people singing the Proclaimers favourite (500 miles)- and Usain Bolt joining in---------- now that's entertainment. Great show, great athletics

Nothing to dislike other than if your a smoker there is no areas designated for this. Corporate side of this venue is excellent and everyone we met was very helpful

It was a very special night as I was lucky enough to be at the evening of the Athletics and it was very well organised and the officials could not have been more helpful.

The last time I was at Hampden Park was on April 25 1959 to see my team Aberdeen get beaten 3-1 in the Scottish Cup Final by St. Mirren. The attendance that day was 108,591. My next visit was 55 years later when the home of Scottish football had been temporarily transformed into an athletics stadium for the 2014 Commonwealth... More

Have been here many times, for football mostly, and also a couple of concerts. The bowl shape does not lend itself to a noisy atmosphere but Scotland fans make up for that. I also visited recently for the athletics and if anything was even more impressed. Last year I was lucky enough to win a chance to play on the... More

At one time Hampden was the largest football stadium in the world with a capacity 149,000. As a child I remember the huge crowds and the Hampden roar in the 1980s. But the grand old stadium was pretty basic and run down and was replaced with a smaller version in 1999. The national stadium is still a great place to... More

The view of athletics was good. Good atmosphere for athletics. Very helpful volunteers. The event organisation and updates were very good. Even though it was a rainy day, the events were managed very well. Been there on last day of athletics of CWG 2014.

We visited Hampden Park for the Commonwealth Games athletics on day six. The tickets were reasonably priced and we had a great view. It's great venue, you would never have believed that it's usually a football stadium. The atmosphere was excellent and sporting. Getting in and out was easy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food did... More

Amazing venue for the athletics. Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic volunteers covering all aspects of the transport and queues. Attended four nights of athletics and every minute was brilliant. The whole of Glasgow was just a great place to be on this visit, a real success and Glasgow will no doubt have more return visitors following this, I couldn't have had a... More
