I went twice already, and would probably go again! Incredibly, I was lucky with the weather on both occasions, and on a sunny day Glengoyne is at its best. I thoroughly recommend the guided tour: staff are really nice and knowledgeable, and the two taster drams are worth the ticket :) A lovely day out, especially is someone else is... More

Very nice tour on the Glengoyne Distillery: we did the Wee Tour: two tastings of 10yr old and 17yr old Glengoyne whisky. From previous exerience with wine tours, I expected less of the tour, so I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the group and the huge amount of information we received. Very friendly tour guide who explained everything... More

It was horrible rainy the day we visited the distillery, and this proved to be a very good wet weather option. Really good informative tour, I think the tour guide was called Stephanie. She really knew her stuff and it was a very interesting hour. Had a dram of the 10 year single malt as part of the tour which... More

I've been on a couple brewery tours before and they are practically all the same. The tour was very informative on the process and the heat off of the machines is always interesting to be around. Granted that this one is a Scotch Whiskey Distillery in Scotland which does make it pretty cool. If you go on the tour you... More

A very nice smell flows around and the guids are very good to understand, also when your english isn´t so good. The shop and the other rooms have still this old noble style.

Visiting Glasgow during a spell of wet, cold weather it was a treat when the skies cleared to get on the #10 bus to Balfron which leaves from Stance 34 at the Buchanan Street Bus station on the hour. A very pleasant 55 minutes drive through pretty countryside and a couple of villages sees you deposited at the front gate... More

This was one of my favourite places in Glasgow. The distillery itself is lovely, the tour was great, informative and interesting. I loved being able to see how the whisky is made - its made me appreciate a highland single malt much more! The gift shop is lovely too - I mangaged to get a few presents for my dad... More

The tours are deleivered by staff that like what they do. Always friendly and smiling. For me one of the best wee distilleries in Scotland to visit. Get your 17yo now while stocks last. Oh and a wonderfull dram too.
