An opportunity presented September 2014 that I could work towards an unfinished career goal and over time aim to achieve "Chartered Engineer" status which is now a must with the implementation of the recent Irish Building Control Regulations. I was accepted into GCU's level 3 Building Services degree course. In my case I used to fly over from Dublin for... More

I would recommend anyone to study at GCU as I never had any complaints while I was a student there. It is a good location which excellent transport links (bus station across the road). The equipment available is of a high standard and the library has an extensive range of books available for every course. Would highly recommend.

I've loved studying at GCU, the teaching staff are brilliant and very supportive. I love being involved in the SA and making many new friends through it! Lovely place.

I found the university buildings very clinical, angular and modern looking compared to the characteristic Victorian style buildings of Glasgow. Surprisingly it seems to work and new mixes well with old. The campus buildings are on the other side of Buchannan Street Bus Station.

Basic group apartments with slightly more comfortable than usual beds. Not the cleanest dorm setting but if you need supplies to do it yourself, the cleaning staff are easily found taking breaks on the benches. If you stay longer than a week they will change your sheets once and towels twice. They show up once to wipe the sinks in... More

Caledonian University is my favorite university in Glasgow. Student facilities are great, excellent staff, great libraries and lounge places, no wonder this university was ranked 2nd in the UK for international student satisfaction. I especially love student association building.
