If possible, I like to do one of these hop on/hop off tours as soon as possible when I'm in a new city. It's a great way to get a fast understanding of what's out there, where things are in relation to each other, where you want to spend more time, and a general understanding of a city's landscape. With... More

While spending a couple of weeks in the UK over the Christmas holidays, we toured the city of Glasgow via the Hop on Hop Off Tour bus. This is an excellent way to receive a snap shot of a city in a short period of time (2 hours). We did not check out any of the attractions along the way... More

As a Glaswegian now living in England I did the tour on December 27" and was amazed by the experience. The commentary was great by Neil Oliver and the sights from the old town to the SECC were terrific as were all the Christmas lights in people's homes along the route. The humour of Glasgow came out in the place... More

I visited Glasgow with my husband and son and we found this a great way to get around the city. It does a good loop of all the main attractions and we used it to visit The science centre and the Kelvingrove galleries and museum. We paid £ 30 for a two day family ticket and this also saved us... Recently visited Glasgow for the first time - with only a couple of days, this tour gave us a great intro to the city. We paid for a one day ticket and got great value - we spent most of the day doing one loop, hopping on and off the bus to visit fabulous museums & sights. Then we caught... More

If you only have two days in Glasgow, get a two day ticket: worth every penny. It is informative. You see far more of Glasgow than you would if you were on foot and the Guides and Drivers are fantastic, very professional and knowledgeable. Excellent!

We bought tickets for 2 days at a huge cost of £12 ! It proved to be with every penny. We used it all the time and found it very informative. It went to all the sights within the city and was very reliable time wise. Only downside was the scottish diddley music constantly playing when there was no commentary.
