We enjoyed a two day tour of the city on the bus. The tour guide Campbell tempered his information with typical Glaswegian humour, very enjoyable! Bus stops at regular intervals at the various attractions made this an excellent way to see the city, unfortunately the weather wasn't kind and we missed out on some of the sights we wanted to... Easy on and off, can go around to see full city. Headphones with good history. Clean and easy seating. Can see why this is a popular bus tour of the city...

We have just returned from a short break in Glasgow. As the local (Commonwealth Games invented?) catch phrase goes "People Make Glasgow". How true. What a great City and 'yes' the locals are friendly and dispelled any previous misconceptions. The City delivers on culture, sport (including the magnificent Commonwealth Games), entertainment, dining and then some. There is so much to... More

I am a Glaswegian now living in Drouin, Australia. Recently ,whilst on holiday in Glasgow , I took the tour for first time. It was a a great tour, very informative We stayed on bus for whole of tour then later in afternoon did the hop on hop off experience. I recommend this tour to overseas visitors and Glaswegians. Well... More

The scotish historian off the bbc does the voice over and it is very interesting. Staff are friendly and the buses come ever 15min at this time of year and it takes you to most of the large attractions. 14 quid for a 2 day ticket is good value as you can use it to get around and it gives... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour service. I was able to see the majority of things I wanted too. Unfortunately the Glasgow Cathedral was closed as the Commonwealth games had just finished and the city was being packed up and cleaned. I would recommend this to anyone that has a limited time in the city and wants to pack in as... More

On the first bus we had the audio tour and on the second we had the live tour. Both were good and informative . We should have used it more to get our money worth but would do it again to get around the city.

Hot day, no audio guide available. A member of staff gave a live commentary, but it was impossible to hear what she was saying upstairs in the open air. Downstairs was too hot. Noisy women behind us didn't stop chatting, making hearing the commentary more difficult. Tried to leave the bus - when I eventually found the "stop" bell, I... More

We bought a one day ticket ( didn't even know beforehand that that was an option) from the bus driver. We sat at the top and listened to the audio guide ---perhaps with live commentary it would have been more interesting. The history covered on the tape was informative but dry. There was no way we could have walked all... More

Started well. Tour was really interesting - we listened to the on-board guide. Then the problems began. Bus departed early from Botanic Gardens so we missed it and ended up walking to Kelvingrove instead. When we left there a bus turned up but was full so drove off without us. We weren't given any info (e.g. whether an additional bus... More
