Had a 48 hour ticket but there were too many visitors and not enough buses. Could not get a seat on the top. Sadly, the drivers were officious. Perhaps under pressure due to the demand. However you do get to see the city and some interesting street art.

Just back from a short break in Glasgow. On our first day there we purchased a 2 day City Sightseeing ticket. It was one of the best purchases I have ever made. We used the hop on hop off bus on both days, the first day we took the complete tour which was a great way for us to decide... More

My partner and I only had a few hours in the city but we'd never been before and so decided to get a the bus tour to give us an idea of the scope of attractions around Glasgow. The tour was very informative and a good price - it definitely made us want to see more should we return. One... More

I am expat who returns regularly for visits. Friend is planning to visit so I thought I would check out this tour even although I have been to most of the attractions en route. I cannot recommend it enough for first time visitors. The tour is in 2 halfs so I would suggest having the 2 day ticket -excellent value-and... More

I was visiting the Glasgow city and found the hop on Hop off city sight seeing bus as the most convenient option. 24 stops offers, a chance to visit various important attractions. Friendly staff and commentary in various languages. I would recommend this option to explore Glasgow.

My husband and I have lived in Glasgow for most of our lives and often talked about taking the bus around Glasgow and never got around to it. We decided as it was dry albeit cold we would like to take a trip around the city. It was £12 each for 1 day or £14 for 2 days. It was... More

The tour gives you a good overview of the city and takes you to all the important tourist attractions. The downside is that the off-season schedule has a bus only once every hour, which means you end up losing some precious at certain points and can be a little annoying. Definitely a good way to start your time in the... More

Glasgow city centre is reasonably accessable for wheelchairs although the sight of the staircase into John Lewis is daunting (go into the Buchanan Centre and use the lifts or go around the back to Killermont Street). Outside the centre things are very different. I had the misfortune to use Argyll Street between Finnieston Street and Kelvingrove Museum. This stretch of... More
