We bought a one day ticket ( didn't even know beforehand that that was an option) from the bus driver. We sat at the top and listened to the audio guide ---perhaps with live commentary it would have been more interesting. The history covered on the tape was informative but dry. There was no way we could have walked all... More

Started well. Tour was really interesting - we listened to the on-board guide. Then the problems began. Bus departed early from Botanic Gardens so we missed it and ended up walking to Kelvingrove instead. When we left there a bus turned up but was full so drove off without us. We weren't given any info (e.g. whether an additional bus... More

I was disappointed with this tour after having been on others in other cities.Mainly because the city seemed very unattractive and lacking much history.Maybe part of the reason we didn't enjoy it is that we got very wet and cold on the top of the bus. Most other reviewers seemed to enjoy the tour.We got off the tour when we went... Paid in full for tour got on at Radisson Blue Argyle Street. Was not told that the bus was being diverted that day when I bought the tickets. During the tour we had to get off one bus and get another because there was an Orange day parade being held in Glasgow and we could not go into St George's... More

After Edinburghs city tour Glaskows tour felt little boring... Nothing really special attractions with great stories. Allthought this was good way to see the city, same way than in every cities travelled.

We went on the tour at the end of June and as it was the summer season the buses went every 15 mins. You can buy the ticket from the driver which means you can hop on and start the tour wherever is convenient to you. The tour lasts about 1 hour 50 mins and takes in many areas which... More

The buses depart regularly from George Square and the tour, if you stay on board, lasts about 1hour 50minutes. You can hop off and on at places of interest to you. Some of the guides are more interesting/informed/amusing than others but all do a good job of telling you about the city past and present.

I took the tour bus with a friend who was from Glasgow ,while the trip was enjoyable we were disappointed that there was no reference made to the Necroplis ,We visited the Necropolis (situated behind Glasgow Cathedral) and found it I very interesting ,it is a very well maintained historic cementrey with views over looking the city.WHile reference was made... The live guide was fabulous, I think his name was Jamie? This is our 5th City Sightseeing tour around the UK in the last two weeks, but unfortunately it was the worst. The others are all around an hour long and have clearly put a lot of thought into the attractions they will visit and route they will take. However,... More

Even for Glaswegians born and bred, there is no better way to explore the best of this ancient town than atop these open deck busses. The double-decker delights start from George Square in the city center but you can hop-on-hop-off anywhere they meander - tickets are good for unlimited wanderings during any two consecutive days. We jumped on at the... More
