My wife and I decided to take the open top bus tour of Glasgow and decided to get the two day ticket so we could also use the bus as a means of getting about the city. Only £14 each for over sixties (£15 normal) and we certainly got value for money. We could have saved on afternoon tea at... More

Went on the sight seeing bus tour with a 2 day ticket. Had an idea of where we wanted to go but we were on the first bus of the day (9.30am) and the museums didn't open until 11am! Decided to stay on the bus and did the tour then went back to where we wanted to go. Buses were... More

This was our first visit to Glasgow so did what we normally do when first visiting a city. The bus was late according to timetable which may have accounted for the brusque manner of the young female driver.I presented a saved sightseeing ticket from York which your brochure states you get 10%off.However she said we give £1 off that's what we... Could you email us on info@citysightseeingglasgw.co.uk with details of when you took the tour and, if you still have your ticket, provide us with your... More

We did not feel safe in this town. We did take the guided bus tour and saw some interesting sights and we think this is the best way to see Glasgow. I would not venture out alone in this town though. It seems too close and dark.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and we're sorry to hear that you didn't explore on your own. Glasgow folk pride themselves on their reputation for friendliness and with a buzzing nightlife with 1000's of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, there's generally a lot of people out and about enjoying them, so places like the city centre... Another great experience with City Sightseeing tour buses. This morning we had a live tour guide, she was incredibly knowledgable and answered all of our questions. The tour lasted 1 hour 50 minutes. Best £12 pounds spent, this is because we saved previous receipts and got a discount from the driver. Tickets are good for 24 hours, or you can... More

This is an excellent tour..open-topped bus ( front part covered), lasting 2 hrs, taking yu all around the city. Radio commentary provided by earphones, sometimes it's live commentary. You can get off an on at different points en route,..the buses are every 15 mns, so yu don't wait long to pick it back up again. Great way to see the... More

Thank you for your kind review and we're delighted you enjoyed the tour. There are lots to see and do in the city and we do recommend that our customers take the tour and then plan visits to the places they see on the tour, hopping on and off to spend time at those that interest them. More

This is a great city tour, informative commentary and very friendly staff. AND.... they get extra points for reuniting my father law with his lost wallet! Thanks chaps for going the extra mile! I recommend the two day ticket if your stay allows, for the extra few pounds you can hop on and off as many times as possible. My... More

Thank you for your kind review and we're delighted to have helped reunite your father-in-law with his wallet! We have operated tours later in the day previously but found demand wasn't strong. That said, thanks for the suggestion and this may be something we revisit for 2016. More

We used the bus to try and see as much as possible in one day. We did see a lot but were disappointed to only have a recorded audio guide. I think there was a live guided tour on another bus. Good trip but chose the right bus.

Thank you for your review. During the summer months we offer a mix of live guide tours and audio tours so that we can accommodate those who don't speak English with the wide range of languages we offer. We're sorry that you thought our Neil Oliver audio tour was a bit boring as we've tried to make it as informative... More

The bus service takes you around Glasgow, stopping at all places of interest. The hop-on, hop-off service allows you to visit all the tourist attractions without needing to arrange additional transport. The tour guides are humorous and provide you with interesting and helpful information on the city and culture.
