We were walking on this street after taking tea at Willows tea shop. It felt like places in Seattle in the 60s, where all the cool music venues were, funky, and edgey. I get it, things change, and sometimes not for the better when they change for the "better" ie Seattle Public Market was way cooler then, before it was cleaned... More

Great shopping and lots to see. I walked all the way from Kelvingrove although it has gone down hill a wee bit over the years

Sauchiehall Street is the better shopping experience. Primark, Lush, Marks & Spencer etc. Most of the time u get music from people busking while u shop. Majority of the time its really good music. Once in a blue moon u see the odd celebrity walking around doing their shop. Not so many food places on this street but there are... More

Used to be a good place to go but these days most of the bars have went downhill and mainly used by students with the same music and over pricing of drinks Some nice places to eat though and two great casinos to choose from

Just back from a few gr eat days in Glasgow. I had heard about Sauchiehall Street before going to Glasgow but I was really surprised by the number and variety shops. I was also pleased to find that it is a pedestrian area and easy to get around. Definitely a must if you visit Glasgow.

One of the best streets I know for window shopping, along with lots of pubs and restaurants, and people watching. We love to stroll down this street anytime we are visiting Glasgow.

If you like shopping then Sauchiehall Street is a must. There is an abundance of pubs and clubs further up the street, but this area gets very, very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

Loads of shopping, galleries, venues, pubs, restuarants and night clubs. At the eastern end of Sauchiehall Street is the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Buchanan Galleries. There is also the Charles Rennie Macintosh designed Willow Tea Room which is open to the public. Great for day or night. At 2.5 miles long there is plenty to see and do and... More
