I agree with previous reviewer, this street is more suited to students for a night out as opposed to shopping. The street is dirty and not the best city example of what Glasgow has to offer. Buchanan st and even Argyle st which both have malls are much better for shopping.

It´s a street, some of it pedestrian. I do not understand that this is an attraction? Is it? Quite boring shops, and too many fast food restaurants, but I guess there are some elements of entertainment.

Plenty restaurants, pubs, many shops and at the Buchanan Bus Street side you have Buchanan Galleries with a wide range of shops to pick from.... More

This street is a shadow of its former self. How sad that it has been allowed to fall into such a state, Once Glasgow's most famous street is now a picture of urban neglect and decay,

Sauchiehall Street is one of the main shopping streets in Glasgow, containing clothes shops, book shops and a host of others. It is well worth a visit if you are buying presents.

After spending from 9am to 5pm (with only a couple of small breaks inbetween) shopping on Sauchiehall Street, I have to say its one of the best city centre shopping areas I have seen in a long time. With a huge Primark and Dunnes I was in heaven. Equally so when I went to the bottom of the street and... More
