Used to be a good place to go but these days most of the bars have went downhill and mainly used by students with the same music and over pricing of drinks Some nice places to eat though and two great casinos to choose from

Just back from a few gr eat days in Glasgow. I had heard about Sauchiehall Street before going to Glasgow but I was really surprised by the number and variety shops. I was also pleased to find that it is a pedestrian area and easy to get around. Definitely a must if you visit Glasgow.

One of the best streets I know for window shopping, along with lots of pubs and restaurants, and people watching. We love to stroll down this street anytime we are visiting Glasgow.

If you like shopping then Sauchiehall Street is a must. There is an abundance of pubs and clubs further up the street, but this area gets very, very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

Loads of shopping, galleries, venues, pubs, restuarants and night clubs. At the eastern end of Sauchiehall Street is the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Buchanan Galleries. There is also the Charles Rennie Macintosh designed Willow Tea Room which is open to the public. Great for day or night. At 2.5 miles long there is plenty to see and do and... More

If you like shopping then this is the street for you. At one end you have the Buchanan Galleries that leads on to Buchanan Street at down to Argyle Street and at the other end you will find plenty of restaurants to suit every taste.

Very busy street with lots to do.. loads of shops for the retail shoppers to be kept busy! There is lots of pubs & resturants for you to eat & drink. If you are visiting at night there is also lots of nightclubs you can visit. Enjoy!

A paradise for shoppers and plenty of places to eat. Don't forget to take your credit cards!! It wasn't my husband's favourite place but there were plenty of pubs to deposit him in and that way he didn't moan too much.
