This park is just one of the lovely green spaces that Glasgow has to offer for Southside locals and visitors to the area. Over the past few years, I have visited here not just to cycle and walk through the park but also to attend a wedding at Pollok House, enjoy the festivities at the annual Highland Cattle Show and... This is a beautiful park with stunning gardens and wildlife that is a must for overseas visitors. I visited with friends from Germany and they were delighted to see a Highland cow up close. We also thoroughly enjoyed seeing the heavy horses in their stables All the horses were pretty friendly. There are nice river views and Pollock house is... More

Roamed around the park for an hour or so, had a picnic, nosied around Pollok House and visited the Burrell Collection (which was incredible), fab day! The park wouldn't be so great with the usual Scottish weather but I'd still say go visit the Burrell Collection.

Great green space in middle of Glasgow and has beautiful trees and grounds. It was very busy when we visited and although this is a good sign that people love to go there it was too much for us!

Pollok House and Country park, Glasgow. The Park is Glasgow's largest park and the only Country Park within Glasgow. Its extensive woodlands and gardens provide a quiet sanctuary for both visitors and wildlife and free to visit. The Walled Garden contains many features of interest to gardeners of all ages. Mature yew hedges section the garden into compartments containing seasonal... More

This was a school trip and having only been once previously with family, I was looking forward to it. We had 300 children. The park is large so expect a lot of walking. It has highland cattle, a fantastic playground area, ice cream van (this may be seasonal) and there is loads more to do including Pollok House, The Burrell... More

Great park for walking, plenty fresh air, you can ride around the park in a horse and cart, you can also watch the farriers as they shod the horses, there is also a gift shop and a tea room.

Always a place to chill and relax, large open areas, oaks and chestnut trees .. And of course just sit and watch the wonderful highland cattle as they pasture happily.
