This is a great place for a walk but if in need of some culture there is is the Burrell collection and Pollok House. the highland cows a alway look cute and you can visit the clydesdale horses. There is also a good play park for children under sat twelve years. All in all a really good family day out.

this is a lovely park on the southside with the Burrell Collection and Pollok House situated within the grounds, even if you dont want to venture into any of these attractions, its still a lovely park to visit and wander around on a nice day

Pollock park is a nice area for quiet woodland type walks, with a reasonable play area for kids as well. Most of the year you can see Highland cows around, and if you are lucky calves - extremely cute! You do need to pay for parking if you are using the main car-park, though you can park in the lane... Beautiful park with highland own, gardens and a wee loch/pond. The house itself is worth visiting to see all the rooms, furniture and art. Downstairs their is a tearoom and a shop where you can purchase old fashioned sweets, recipe books, various old fashioned oats. Etc. a place that would suit all family members as there is something for all... More

We visited in July and loved the manicured gardens, pastures, wooded areas, the bridge for pooh sticks, the weir and the old buildings. We didn't get to the Roman fort but will visit again. For history lovers, the house and museum are also a must (National Trust).

This is a lovely stately home in beautiful grounds. A walk round the house will reveal fabulous original furnishings and an impressive library. There are some wonderful paintings, two of which are by William Blake! The café is in the original kitchens and serves up delicious traditional recipes, using some ingredients grown on the property. There are also a couple... More

Pollok Country Park is one of Glasgow's most beautiful parks which houses Pollok House and The Burrell Collection. Beautiful country walks along the river, visit Pollok House, have tea at Pollok House, visit the horses, meander through the gardens. Delightful.
