This is a lovely park for Sunday morning walks on the Southside of the Glasgow not far from bustling Shawlands. I like that feeling of being far from the city but in fact not far at all

Pollok Park was really busy when we visited recently. Lots of families and individuals - a;; sorts of people, out enjoying the lovely surroundings. Lots to see and do and plenty to keep the children occupied, including Glasgow's Clydesdale horse team. Well worth a trip. The fact that the wonderful Burrell Collection is sited in the Park makes it even... More

A quick stop here back in Sep 07 saw some fantastic wedding pictures taken in a beautiful setting. Great memories of an awesome day! Been before and since of course but it's a place close to the heart - as it seems to be for many! Definitely worth a visit!

Confused that 4 people rated the park as poor, mental, must have visited a different park. Pollock Park has it all, great for running, Burrell Collection, Pollock House, Great Dog Walking Tracks, Mountain Biking circuit, Woodlands, River runs through it, Highland Cows, Clydesdale horses and a cricket ground. How much does it cost, ZERO, its free, its beautiful, it's great,... More

Whether you are alone or with company of friends or family, it's a lovely place for a stroll, especially during summer time. Highland cattle, colorful flowers, birds, ... there are a few routes to follow from short trek to longer trek and each has its own theme. Just make sure you go to toilet first before you take the trek,... More
