I was here for a wedding and it was a lovely venue. Lovely gardens and friendly staff in the house . Would recommend a visit to the gardens in the summer. Even though it was October when I was there everything was very neat and tidy in the gardens. Credit to the gardeners.

I did not regret my visit to the largest park in Glasgow. I set off for a walk and stumbled upon the Pollok House which was simply beautiful. You can wander the extensive grounds for free but if you want to see inside the house, there is a fee. You can have tea in the basement cafe which looked very... More

Feels like the countryside but still in Glasgow... woods, walks, cycle paths, highland cattle, river. Dont miss The Burrell Collection located in the centre of the park. Sir William was an interesting character and his collection is impressive. It is housed in a purpose built welcoming building. Free entry and friendly staff. The gardens around the very Grand Pollock House are... More

you can easily spend the day here, and there's plenty for all ages to explore and enjoy. the basement cafe in the house seems a bit overpriced and tired now, although the walk to and from it is worth the price of a wee cake. loads of space in the gardens for a picnic. if you go with kids, leave... This is by far the best park in Glasgow. The walled gardens are a site to behold during any season. There are plenty of woodlands to explore and the air in this park feels like the cleanest in the City. Well worth spending the day there as there is so much to do and see.

Pollock park is a big park in the middle of a city but you could easily forget that you're in Glasgow. It's a great place for a walk or a run. Lots of dog walkers, families and folk running/walking. If you like rhodedendrons, go around now (end of june). various cycle routes, runs etc are signposted but the signage in... More

This park is beautiful in the summer time, and well worth a visit.Unfortunately I arrived after the opening times for Pollock house and the Burrell Collection but was able to walk around and enjoy the highland cattle, the woodland, the Pollock gardens and the stables. Really good for anyone who loves to explore nature!
