Having now seen a few shows at the Citizens I think I have caught the bug for live drama. The Citizens provides great entertainment at realistic prices with on site car parking an added bonus

Have been to 2 recent productions at this theatre. Both have been wonderful. The first was "Who Killed Johnny Glendinning" and then "A Christmas Carol " Have just received the new programme and plan to go to "The Slab Boys" with friends in February. This is a local theatre which punches above its weight and deserves support. Ticket prices are... More

The Citizens never fail to amaze me with their unique and quirky repertoire but this performance of a Christmas Carol was just outstanding and so powerfully delivered. Hope you do this again next year. Many many thanks for a beautiful evening of laughter and tears

There were six of us who went to see Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Great family entertainment. The production was simple but highly effective. A little singalong to get us going and then they slid into a wonderful production of this old classic. The casting worked well. Same old story but this show went very well. Congratulations to actors, stage... More

Would highly recommend this production to anyone. Maybe a wee bit scary for some children however a brilliant show. The wee nod to panto was fun and the puppetry was first class. Value for money was second to none. Well done citizens

We went to the Citizen's for our annual Christmas experience and again it didn't disappoint!! A truly wonderful performance by all! The creativity in making this adaptation of A Christmas Carol was impressive - from the music, the puppetry, the set and of course, the acting!. Scrooge has been portrayed many times and this was up there with the best!... More

Have visited the Citz on a number of occasions and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. A Christmas Carol last night was fantastic. Sat at the side of the dress circle and still had a great view of the stage. The cast were superb and the stage design was magical.

Attended the first performance of a drama adaption of Dicken's "Christmas Carol " Absolutely super. All the actors more than competent with Scrooge superb. The use of a form of puppertry to show ghosts etc impressive. Obviously different from a pantomime but a great way to celebrate the Christmas period. highly recommended Staff greeting one, serving drinks, ice cream etc... More
