We went to the Citizen's for our annual Christmas experience and again it didn't disappoint!! A truly wonderful performance by all! The creativity in making this adaptation of A Christmas Carol was impressive - from the music, the puppetry, the set and of course, the acting!. Scrooge has been portrayed many times and this was up there with the best!... More

Have visited the Citz on a number of occasions and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. A Christmas Carol last night was fantastic. Sat at the side of the dress circle and still had a great view of the stage. The cast were superb and the stage design was magical.

Attended the first performance of a drama adaption of Dicken's "Christmas Carol " Absolutely super. All the actors more than competent with Scrooge superb. The use of a form of puppertry to show ghosts etc impressive. Obviously different from a pantomime but a great way to celebrate the Christmas period. highly recommended Staff greeting one, serving drinks, ice cream etc... More

I've visited a few times since I posted my last review and I have enjoyed every minute of my visits. I've seen a few pieces of theatre recently, including 1984 and Hamlet and they have been just wonderful. I've also been on the backstage tour which I cannot recommend highly enough. To stand on that famous stage was just a... More

Visited the Citizens to see their production of Hamlet, which was really good. It was (shamefully) my first visit there for 30 years, but although the facade is totally changed, the auditorium is still as wonderful as ever. There is an intimacy here that is very special, and the feelings are still there from before. There is an excellent snack... More

Wonderfully alive performance using varying mediums of delivery. Beautiful theatre and really not a fault in anything. The performance was intellectually and politically stimulating.

The bar, the staff, the management, the actual theatre, the stage, everything about this venue is amazing. They are very friendly and helpful with cast, crew and audiences alike, whether you're there to watch one show, or doing a 2-month run. The theatre itself is fantastic with a big stage.

Your map location of this theatre is not accurate by about a mile and on wrong side of River Clyde? The theatre is on the south side of the river.
