Even before you enter the building you understand that it's a great historical building and the stairs only amplify that feeling. Inside it's clean and very easy to get around and find the place you're looking for. The staff is very eager to help you and visitors seem quite relaxed. The toilets are spotless clean and there is paper (as... More

Saw Charley Pride here with all 3 generations of my family. Good lift access for those not so steady on their feet and hand rails to access the lower seats. Acoustics were a little disappointing for a concert hall compared to others that I've visited but the place was spotless and the seats were very comfortable. Lots of parking nearby... More

Went to a Jazz Day UNESCO concert in the Strathclyde Suite. Great layout with tables and chairs, good acoustics, and a great evening. The venue lets you get really close to the music. The bar outside a bit disappointing as all drinks are served in revolting plastic cups! Health and Safety gone mad again. Otherwise a great venue.

Glasgow audiences are brilliant. This venue adds to that by being spacious, friendly and well staffed. The bars are not cramped as many venues are and there is plenty of room to visit a merchandise stall and make your way to the auditorium. Also unusually, the seats allow plenty of room for others to get by and feel comfortable during... More

We came for a concert (Nick Cave = excellent) and were seated near entrance door 11 on the left side of the stage. The acoustics are fantastic and you get a good sound quality and view of the act. It is an all seating venue but be aware the seats in the balconies are a little cramped. However, given this... More

We visited the Concert Hall and found the venue to be excellent. The seating has lots of leg room and the seats are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the coffee bar is OK but with nice coffee, we could not find a menu to see the types of drinks available but it didn't put us off. The... More

Maybe the Encore cafe in the Royal Concert Hall should have its own Tripadvisor page? You dont need to be visiting for a show, and its a great cafe to visit if you are looking for a pit stop in central Glasgow during the day. At the top of Buchanan street head up the stairs into the Concert Hall and... More

What can I say about this place what a beautiful venue glasgow should be proud of if the only critique I have is that the toilets are to far away from the halls

Fantastic venue in the centre of the city. Good facilities across the various floors and public areas. The main auditorium is beautiful and the concert acoustics are fantastic! Staff are friendly and helpful. It has a brilliant view down the length of Buchanan Street from the entrance at the top of the stairs. The Royal Concert Hall is a credit to... More
