The building in itself is lovely and. Must see when in glasgow, (hard to miss really). Th coffee shop is basic but good enough for a rest and a chat with friends. The shop although small is packed with musical, gifts and cards to suite everyone. Of course I would thoroughly recommend going to a concert while your there.

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall adjoins to of the city's busiest streets - Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street. It's an incredible venue with plenty to offer in terms of entertainment, and typically has a role to play in some of Glasgow's biggest events. If you get the chance to see anything here don't turn it down!

The Concert Hall is at the top of Buchanan Street where it swings to the left. It is a prominent building and you can't miss it. A little non descript from the outside but nevertheless worth the photo opportunity. have a look you can't miss it.

Having attended a variety of concerts in different seating areas, the acoustics are equally good throughout, the seating spacious and the ambience always convivial.

Visited at 330pm on a friend's recommendation. We'd heard lunches were fab. On arrival we were informed that they closed at 3pm but that we could still order and stay! Bit odd but however we did, only to find that we could only have the slices of cake left over and a drink. No food now available! Anyway we persevered,... More

I was there with a band playing just one night. Easy load in and out, good local crew. Slightly more confusing getting from back stage to front of house to visit friends.

There are some nice arts, huge portrait paintings in side of the hall. Great place to listen some classical music

I took my family into Glasgow to experience the atmosphere buzzing with international tourists visiting for the Commonwealth Games and decided to have lunch in the restaurant. The area was bright and spacious and the staff, although very busy, were very welcoming and friendly. A good sized bowl of delicious carrot and coriander soup, prawn-packed sandwiches with salad and crisps... More

Wednesday morning and the place was absolutely buzzing with a great atmosphere. Light lunches extremely good value indeed. Tasty salads and freshly made sandwiches with drinks for three at under £20.00. Comfortable, air conditioned surroundings made our meeting very pleasant indeed on such a hot day. Great meeting place in the heart of the city centre. Was back a few... More

Have been to many many concerts hear and it having a major upgrade which has made it even better. The sound quality is fantastic and even when seated in restricted view areas most of the stage is well visible! Advisable to book early for many events
