I have visited the concert hall twice in the last few weeks - once for Mindstore Conference and the other time for the St Andrews Day Concert with Phil and Ally and Barbara Dickson. The sound in the auditorium is great. Really good place for a gig.

What a fantastic show. It started with school children which were superb. The show was brilliant I danced in the aisle all night. Staff were very friendly. We are in the cafe. The food was good and very cheap, the service was a bit chaotic.

Went to see/hear Phil & Ally's St Andrews Party, third year in a row. Each time we have been seated in a different section but no matter where you are you have a great view and the acoustics are exceptional - coped with everything from 1 singer+ guitar to full orchestra with pipers, additional brass section, fiddlers and singers. The... More

Have been to the RCH a few times now, it's a great venue with good access, comfy seats and everyone has a good view of the stage. Went last night to see the Bootleg Beatles. Personally I'm not a fan of copy cat groups but on this occasion I make an exception.....they were fantastic . Their Geo Harrison's version of... More

What a venue, having been at the Glasgow hydro recently this is like a palace. Its true you do pay for quality. The band was good all out singing from the said starting time till after 10, the band look like the beatles act like the beatles but don't sing like the beatles, so you will be disappointed if you... Have been to many concerts here of all varieties, acoustics are great and the way seating is arranged everyone has a clear view of the stage. Easy to get to , 10 min walks from Glasgow central and queen St rail station, Buchanan bus station is opposite as is a multistory carpark. There's free on street parking after 6 in... More

The Royal Concert Hall is a great venue, the seating is such that everyone can see the stage and who is on it. Seats are well spaced and comfy with good leg room. The bar prices are a bit over the top but that is the case in any theatre I've found, so take your own in your bag (kidding).... More

Nice building, comfy chairs, good acoustics. Bar prices only about 20p/pint more expensive than nearby bar so surprised to see that comment below, was pleasantly surprised since venues normally rip you off! Show was due to start at 730pm, only announced at about 740pm that the band would start at 8pm. Had sound technical problems for the lead singer which... More

First visit, won't be the last. Excellent smaller, more intimate venue. Comfortable and roomy seating too. Easy to get to from Queen Street Station and plenty of hotels nearby if needed. One point, on arrival, we negotiated the stairs at the front of the building - one of us with difficulty - only to find level access at the rear... More
