fantastic park for families

Beautiful park behind museum and river. Two pipe bands were practicing there. I watch trout rise to a mayfly hatch and then watch a kingfisher scooping up fishes.

Nice pathways though a very green and pleasant area in Glasgow. Well maintained and worth a visit. Big play area if you have kids.

So glad to see that this place has been refurbished. My last visit had been in 1985 and I have fond memories. Perfect size venue that allows you to get really close to the artists. Visited last night with my husband and 10 year old daughter. We had the pleasure of being in row B with a straight on view... More

This elegant park is leafy with easy paths for walking. It is easy to spend an afternoon here - nice benches and picnic areas, several play areas for the children and a friendly, casual tea room. Can be hilly in places but for those with walking difficulty there is no need to go to the higher paths. Would recommend if... More

A nice park to walk around during the day. However, do not visit at night alone! It is very dark and unlit.

First visit to the newly renovated Bandstand to see Alison Moyet and The Bluebells. Great setting enhanced by a sunny and balmy evening. Small venue with limited crowd size - allowed up close interaction with artists. Imagine it might be a bit more miserable in the rain - unless The Blue Nile got back together

Went there to see Alison Moyet concert which was brilliant. Great outdoor venue if you get dry weather, a good tip is to take a cushion as the seats are concrete bench style and pretty uncomfortable.
