Bought and saved by two local businessman with their roots and lifeblood in the local community the Tigers have risen from the ashes. A one million pound investment has seen massive improvements to the team and stadium. Been a supporter for many years now but this year has my heart "racing" already and the first meeting is not until the last Sunday of March. New owners, new team but most importantly a newly revamped stadium that is having nearly £1m spent on it. See it for yourself, it's not the same as on the telly!

Wow.... What a great family day out this was. I was up visiting the family and decided to head to the speedway with the wife and kids. We had such a fantastic day. The kids still talk about watching the Glasgow tigers and regularly ask to go back, so exciting, great atmosphere and fantastic value for money. If you are... More

If you have never been to a speedway meeting, then you should really give this a try. TV coverage, although very good, can never quite capture the thrill of being up close and personal. Although Ashfield is an old fashioned stadium, it offers unrivaled viewing of this wonderful motorcycle sport. You can sit in the stand or position yourself right... More

Glasgow has been known for a long time as a footballing city, but over 60 years ago, Glasgow Tigers came into being and are still racing in Glasgow at Ashfield Stadium. Most weeks the action is between two clubs, Glasgow and a visiting team. Each team has 7 riders, 2 from each team ride against each other in each of... More
