Windy Challenge

Not as tight as The Kittocks but great condition with fast greens and if you leave it to late, you can get great deals.

We played the course in late May and paid £40 per person, which is OK value for money. The course is good quality and well maintained, but no holes stick out in my mind and that is the problem with the course. Most of the holes are unremarkable and similar. Just a bunch of par 4s and 5s going back... More

Great build up , fantastic views sadly wasted as the course was in very poor condition ,greens are cored , rock hard and lack any form of consistency. Lots of bunkers GUR ..never worth the price ..Sorry Sam

Course was good and weather was lovely but about 14 out of 18 greens we had to deal with a greenkeeper cutting the grass at 1pm in the afternoon never seen this on a golf course before disgrace !!!

After passing by the Torrance course for years on the way to the more established St Andrews courses i finally teed off there this morning. First of all what a fabulous course and in near perfect condition (greens had been tined a while back), i played off the championship tees and if you need 509 yrd par 4s! then crack... More

We played this course in the wind and rain and it was very difficult. .It was made more difficult because the rental clubs were not great. We expected more after having excellent rental clubs at other locations in St. Andrew's. While the clubhouse was nice, the staff was not very welcoming. The course itself has some great views at places... More

Came to this course after playing 3 of the St Andrews links courses but this is a totally different test. The day was very windy and cool the greens were like glass and the hazards were excellently placed. I'd like to play again with less wind but it'll test every pary of your game and your head.

Preferences are always subjective, and what pleases me may not please you. I like oranges, you like apples: does that mean that apples or oranges are preferable - or does it mean they are different? This is a links style course on a cliff-top setting. From some parts of the course, the views are limited - but you have come... More

This was a little bit out of town but very worth the drive. A fun course to play and in excellent condition. Fantastic clubhouse with a great restaurant.
