Our family of 3 generations really enjoyed Cinderella at the Byre this week the whole performance was polished & absolutely excellent from start to finish. The audience participation which is essential at pantomime was superb continuous and well thought out. Last year we went to Dundee Rep and the Panto there was absolutely hopeless so very well done to St... More

Out with the family to the evening panto performance of Cinderella on Hogmanay. It was absolutely fabulous. All the cast equally talented. Superb production, well thought through. Great songs sung by talented voices. Really, really funny - a great evening had by all. Well done everyone, we won't be travelling out of St. Andrews for a panto again. The standard... More

The Byre is a great little theatre, seating is excellent with no bad views, always a good varied programme. The restaurant is also a good place to eat before a show or any other time of the week. Sunday lunch is particularly enjoyable, and good value. The bar is a great place to have a drink or a coffee. Booked... More

The byre is a lovely place not to big, not to small, good food and drink available. Been to three shows now and all have been very funny and well put on. Perfect for a night out with friends or a day out with the family. Last show we saw was Cinderella. Very good show to compete with last years... More

This has to be one of the best performances I have ever seen anywhere. Was not sure what to expect after hearing it was a one woman show. Having seen the film many many times and loved it I was delighted to see the way she portrayed her. She captured every aspect of her personality. Truly outstanding.

One of the nicest places in the town. Awesome live music, theatre and a very good venture for a drink or an elegant evening of sorts

Hey, just ignore the review of Emily M, just below mine .... I think she must be playing Scrooge in an alternative panto ( Bah Humbug indeed! ). It's a PANTO and it's aimed at entertainment and having fun with children in mind, that's CHILDREN Emily M... if your prime motive for watching PANTO is musical ability.... you haven't really... The Byre is looking good with all the Christmas lights. Suitable for all ages. We ate in the bar, and the food very good. Usual range of foods with soup and sandwich combo, or either served on its own. Served on a wooden platter, Christmas napkins. The scones looked like a meal in them selves, but I did not have... Can the panto producer please select cast members who can sing? Spoiled what would have been an enjoyable performance!
