Hey, just ignore the review of Emily M, just below mine .... I think she must be playing Scrooge in an alternative panto ( Bah Humbug indeed! ). It's a PANTO and it's aimed at entertainment and having fun with children in mind, that's CHILDREN Emily M... if your prime motive for watching PANTO is musical ability.... you haven't really... The Byre is looking good with all the Christmas lights. Suitable for all ages. We ate in the bar, and the food very good. Usual range of foods with soup and sandwich combo, or either served on its own. Served on a wooden platter, Christmas napkins. The scones looked like a meal in them selves, but I did not have... Can the panto producer please select cast members who can sing? Spoiled what would have been an enjoyable performance!

We visited the Byre last week for food, drinks & Panto with a large group of friends (adults & children). Firstly, the food was fantastic! A great choice and very reasonable prices. There is a large selection of local beer on tap at the bar and a good selection of tables, toys for the children and entertainment whilst you enjoy... More

Had a great night at the Byre. Lovely theatre. Great show. Saw Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime. Suitable for all ages. Fantastic cast. The theatre also has a restaurant and bar. Everybody had a fantastic time including the cast who looked like they were enjoying the show as well. Can't praise it enough.

By chance we were in St Andrews this weekend and found the Byre to be open again for a local production of "Out of Order" so went along to the Saturday matinee show and thoroughly enjoyed the shown in lovely little theatre. I think the play is only on for week but I definitely recommend it if you are in... More

Wonderful atmosphere, helpful staff, and great place to eat. Pick your show from various themes, some professional thespians, others very good local groups. Alway of a high class and money well spent venue.

I reviewed this theatre fairly recently. Sadly it has closed due to lack of funding from Arts bodies in Scotland. A great shame. It is however supposed to reopen shortly under the aegis of the local Council so hopefully we eill be able to use its facilities again.
