We visited Cambo gardens yesterday (Friday 16th October) and were truly delighted with the magnificent autumn colours. Cambo is usually associated with snowdrops and woodland walks in the spring, but the walled garden was astonishingly beautiful at this time of year, with glorious colours and stunning and imaginative planting. We visited the walled garden every day during our stay and then wandered through the woods to the sea. What a breathtaking situation! My only regrets were not seeing the snowdrops or the roses in full bloom. We'll just have to come back! more

I am a gardener and Cambo's made me want to go home and try what I saw there.The mark of an exciting garden.From the walk through the woods to the North Sea to the huge walled in garden everything is well tended and beautiful. The garden was better than many we saw at the historical homes. Worth half a day... more

We visited the garden when staying in Cambo's s/c cottages - what a find! It truly is like The Secret Garden even down to the robin who was flitting about us all the time we were in the glass house.
