If you like the links courses as much I do, you will have a great time. Especially when there is a lot of wind.

The write ups say that this a truer links test than the old course. I'm not sure of that but it is a great test. The inward 9 are really tough where accurcy is really rewarded. Great use of hills and hummocks on the course.

Links golf, you either love it or hate it. The trouble with most golf links is that they are by nature, flat and featureless. The Jubilee has the advantage that it is on the St Andrews peninsular with great views of the town. A links courses defence is usually the weather and my round was no different, 30 -40 mph... More

We played this because we had to buy two rounds that included the Old Course. Maybe my game was off but this was not a fun course for me. Wouldn't do it again.

Actually, I liked this course the best of all the St. Andrew's courses (obviously without the fantastic history of the Old Course being considered). It was challenging, scenic, and had interesting holes. The breeze is almost always up but ...you're golfing in Scotland. The clubhouse and vans that drive around the bed-n-breakfast places are a real convenience. The club house... More

As a former golf course superintendent, when my wife and I came to Scotland, I had to play at St. Andrews. I didn't get a chance on the Old Course but got right on the Jubilee course. It is a very fair layout and a good challenge in a fantastic location. It was a beautiful day and the staff was... More

Our scheme whenever we go to St. Andrews is to book several days (usually finishing with a reserved round at Kingsbarnes) and be at the mercy of the Ballot to get on The Old Course. With the open days we either have gone over to Elie or Lunden or out to Crail. This year we decided to play Jubilee (New... More

Arguably the most challenging of all the St Andrews courses and a very enjoyable round. Every part of the course in good condition and some great holes.

This was my favourite course at St Andrew's, perhaps even more challenging than the Old Course. The fairways are narrow and firm; the gorse and bunkers, dangerous; the greens true. This was an enjoyable links test, and it requires real course management. The course was much easier to get on than the Old Course, and our round did not feel... More

The Jubilee is a good test of golf, especially if you play when it is windy, as it often is at St Andrews! Quite a number of tight holes and some punishing rough if you go off line. Much easier off the yellow or bronze tees than the medals.
