Wow to be standing on the bridge where many have stood before, I felt a tingle of the nostalgia and the history run through my veins. A strange feeling but very glad I got to stand where many of my heroes had stood before. 4/Fore!

All of the golfing greats (minus Hogan) have had their photo taken with this icon of a bridge. Recreate their glory and make your own memories. Just be respectful of the golfers. You can't go wrong visiting this little gem. Enjoy the character of this place and the wonder of The Old Course.

ok, so there are some reviews from some narrow minded characters that fail to see the significance of this landmark bridge. It may be small, the burn over which you may cross may be small. But it's still the Swilcan Burn Bridge, on the oldest golf course in the world, in which all the greatest golfers in the history of... More

Being in St. Andrews, playing the Old Course and crossing the Swilcan Bridge after just having mastered the Road Hole (and Bunker) is probably the absolute must for any Golfer. Great feeling being at the cradle of the Game.

If you travel to this golf course the obligatory photo is a must. The golfers are patient and will move you aside when they need to play there ball. Everyone has there photo taken on the bridge. It is a special feeling, even if you are not playing golf but are a tourist.

If you travel to the Mecca of Golf, this is the birthplace. I loved having my picture taken here with my buds and with the wives. So hard to understand the feeling until you step onto it. You really don't realize how small it really is but how large in life it becomes when you step onto it. So cool.

This is a big bit of golf history at the Old Course. Jack Nicklaus, Arnie, Tiger. A must stop on the 18th hole for a photo op for every golf group.
