If you get the chance you can not miss out on the chance of a lifetime to get your picture on or next to the Swilcan Bridge. To stand where all the legends of golf have stood in the past is not to be missed and can be ticked off your bucket list.

It was the crossing used by fish-wives when they pulled their small carts with fish from the boats in St Andrews harbour to the county market in Cupar - thought to be around 700 years old. All the modern greats such as Palmer and Nicklaus stood there to be photographed on their final round at the end of their golfing... More

To stand here prior to making a birdie on the 18th will always be a treasured memory. If you can't get to play the Old Course, at least take a moment to stand on the Bridge where the past Open Champions smiled with the most famous of trophies. I love the fact that they keep this Iconic golfing landmark open... More

As you can imagine, a visit to the Swilcan Bridge is a must for any dedicated golfer visiting St Andrews! Not much to say really apart from this is an iconic golfing landmark!

Wow to be standing on the bridge where many have stood before, I felt a tingle of the nostalgia and the history run through my veins. A strange feeling but very glad I got to stand where many of my heroes had stood before. 4/Fore!

This bridge bring special memory for me where we were engaged. Old bridge and small but the most famous bridge in the world and had long history. Everyone who visit St Andrew want take photos on the bridge.

All of the golfing greats (minus Hogan) have had their photo taken with this icon of a bridge. Recreate their glory and make your own memories. Just be respectful of the golfers. You can't go wrong visiting this little gem. Enjoy the character of this place and the wonder of The Old Course.

It was fun to run out between Golfers teeing off. Such a famous bridge, happy to have stood on it, along with some of the worlds most iconic golf greats!

ok, so there are some reviews from some narrow minded characters that fail to see the significance of this landmark bridge. It may be small, the burn over which you may cross may be small.
