If you dont go anywhere else in St Andrews then make sure you go here. To stand on the Swilken bridge on a clear Autumn Morning or Spring Sunny Sunday will bring goosebumps to your arms. Its a wonderful encapsulation of everything St.Andrews Stands for

Middle of a public park. You do not have to be playing golf to visit and have your picture taken. Picture Arnie, Jack Tiger and several others as you visit the home of golf

Once again, an unbelievable experience to stand on the bridge, look down the fairway, and consider the history.

The Old Swilken is a must do photo shoot opportunity for visitors from around the World & is often used by wedding parties also. The sad thing is it sits just in front of the 18th tee of the Old Course and sometimes people taking photos can get in the way of golfers. I advise anyone just taking a photo... More

If you are in St Andrews and a golfer, then you have to go and get a photo on the bridge. The home of golf. The view looking up the 18th green behind you is perfect. So many iconic golfing moments have taken place on the bridge or coming down the 18th. Definitely worth a visit.
