Very special club house from which decisions affecting golf around the world are made. Fun to watch all of the players on the first tee that are so excited to be playing "The Old Course"

While this is the holy grail for golfers, it will be a bit of a disappointment for regular folks. Not colorful and lush like American courses, and the number one course starts, surprisingly, in the midst of the city (which is, by the way, beautiful, friendly, and worth visiting).

Wonderfully easy access to the course. For even us weekend golfers there is a feeling of awe. Surprising lack of snobbery!

Experiencing what our professional golfers get to enjoy is simply mind-blowing. The course is not that difficult but the wind will determine your play and the difficulty of the course. Take your time and plan your game. Driver not always the best option. Constant spectator galleries around the 1st Tee and 18th hole to send you off with huge applause... More

Travelled from Australia to St. Andrews to see the course. Purchased a few momentos from the Pro Shop. Was extremely disappointed to find that the St. Andrews badged golf cap I purchased was made overseas. There must be a huge shipping charge as the price was not commensurate with where it was manufactured.

There wasn't really much to do at the Links course if you're just visiting and not playing a round. The course itself is beautiful to walk around, as is the neighboring beach. At least now I can say that I've been there.

If you are thinking of doing St. Andrews for the old course, you won't regret it. The others are fine, but the experience of being there is all you would think it would be. Also played Carnoustie, which was the most difficult course I've ever played.

If you like golf, you must visit St.Andrews. Nice shops, free entry to walk across the golf courses and take a picture of the famous bridge on hole 18 of The Old Course. Although it is difficult to obtain a tee time for the Old course, it was very easy to obtain one for the Jubilee course, which is next... More
