Dined here for lunch with my husband on a trip to St Andrews , views of old course are great but the the lunch wasn't that great. We ordered burger which was average and the french fries tasted as if they were reheated . We have recently returned from a holiday in America and dined at Pebble beach which was... More

We had a light lunch in the Roadhole, we originally went in for a drink but we were so taken by the view we decided to stay. Drinks served as you would expect in the Old Course, with nibbles and expensive!! We both ordered sandwiches which came nicely presented with a side salad. It was a good sized portion (despite... A good place to stop before or after a round or walk around the Old Course in St. Andrews. If you don't get a chance to do either, then you should stop for sure! Great views from along the windows. Excellent selection of whiskies ... and other drinks. Food service is good too.

Having visited the bar on the fourth floor of the Old Course Hotel previously this year I decided to try lunch in the bar. The choice was reasonable and I decided to try the fish and chips which were only a little more expensive than in other restaurants in St Andrews and in view of the amenities on offer and... More

Great drinks. Super friendly service even for a busy saturday night. Very knowledgeable staff. The fettercairn fior is a great pick for a whisky. The Bow More sours is a lovely cocktail. Delicious pretzels too

A great place for that special occasion drink with the view from the bar being stunning. The atmosphere is relaxed with the service being friendly and efficient.

In contrast to previous comments about poor/slow service, we were pleasantly surprised. It was St Andrews university graduation week so tables were hard to come by. We failed to get in at The Jigger Inn so thought we'd try the Road Hole Bar. They explained that they had a wedding in about an hour but that we were welcome to... More

We decided to have a pre lunch drink here with friends, before moving on to the restaurant next door. It took an age to take our drinks order despite there being lots of staff & very few customers. The girl who served us, then proceeded to walk straight past us with the drinks & took them to the restaurant? We... More

We are four ladies who decided to go to the Road Hole Bar for champagne and Sunday brunch - it was a special occasion and we were looking forward to our treat. On arrival we wanted to sit at the window, the view being one of the reasons for choosing the Road Hole bar. However, we were not allowed to... More

The ultimate golf view over The Old Course, scotch from every distillery in Scotland, a rich atmosphere and helpful staff. Try the a whisky tour or two to discover/sample high quality scotch from multiple distilleries.
