This historic building is steeped in history. It dates back to the 1850s, when it was the station master’s lodge and the history and heritage live on. Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, crackling open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers – this is traditional Scottish pub hospitality at its very best. Fondly referred to as ‘the towns best 19th hole’ and much loved by the many celebrities who visit.

We sat outside on the patio of the Jigger Inn, and watched golfers come around the corner from the 17th hole to the Tee Box of the Iconic 18th Hole of the Old Course. The Fish and Chips was wonderful, but you can honestly split an order if you're not a big eater. The single "chip" of fish overlaps the... More

Not a lot of choice on menu-only criticism. Delicious pub grub. Lovely and clean. Lots of atmosphere. Staff very approachable and helpful. Toilets also spotless. Would definitely go back

We had a very fine pint of Jigger Ale and a nice dinner. All the famous golfers have been here at some point celebrating an Open Championship. The outdoor patio overlooks the course and is full of apres-golfers discussing the day. Ask for Fraser and enjoy!

Golfing in St Andrews must include a visit to the classic The Jigger Inn alongside the 17th hole at the famous Old Course. Nice friendly staff and excellent pubfood and beers. Walls full of golfpictures from the past just makes The Jigger Inn so special. Golfer or non-golfer, do not miss this classic pub :)

Located right on the 17 Fairway of the Old Course, this is great place to spend some afternoon time watching the steady stream of golfers finishing their round. It was a nice day so we were outside on the patio. You do have to be alert for incoming golf balls!! Get the Long Vodka!!!

This bar is located adjacent to The Old Course hotel. You walk outside the pro shop and into the pub. It feels really old and quaint and is very charming. We didn't eat while we were there but stopped for drinks before lunch. The bloody Mary's were spicy and delicious. They have a great scotch menu and serve the same... More

We poped in here for a drink. And it's pleaseant, always busy as it's on the 17th on the Old Course, when you in beer garden there's a lot of people walking past which for me spoils a cracking view. Also be aware of the odd stray golf ball whizzing past. The food here is great, nice selection of usual... More

The Jigger Inn at the renovated Old Course Hotel is a must stop for a drink or light snack. Situated just off the 17th fairway at the Old Course it has the great Scottish Pub atmosphere...friendly patrons and staff.

Visited here for the first time in around 30 years today since we used to go caravanning Inst Andrews as a kid. Welcoming and friendly, quaint but charming. Massive portions of food and reasonably priced. Brilliant!

Worth a stop at the Jigger Inn to soak in some of the St. Andrew's history. The staff are friendly. The good is delicious. Enjoy a walk around the greens afterwards!
