This historic building is steeped in history. It dates back to the 1850s, when it was the station master’s lodge and the history and heritage live on. Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, crackling open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers – this is traditional Scottish pub hospitality at its very best. Fondly referred to as ‘the towns best 19th hole’ and much loved by the many celebrities who visit.

Lovely bar food in this wee pub next to the Old Course Hotel. Not many tables and most were reserved when we got there. We had the roast beef which was delicious. Thought the prices were fairly high for bar food but enjoyed the meal nonetheless.

We were staying in the Old Course Hotel and had intended to walk into town for dinner. Went into the Jigger for an aperitif and when we heard the rain battering against the windows decided to stay put. A good decision, the food was lovely. We both had the homemade vegetable broth followed by the roast beef which was particularly... More

We had two occasions to dine both were good value with excellent service. The gas fire, the bar and seats make it a cozy comfortable venue. Love the ladies toilet up the top of the stairs, glad I am five foot only, got a giggle out of it and this added to the experience. Staff at lunch were both ladies... More

Brilliant meal and the service so personal, Antoinette spoke with us if we had been regulars for years, great service and took the time to find out our sons name before Antoinette introduced herself. We had a great stay at The Old Course Hotel and will return to both, the weather was great for January. To all staff at Jigger... More

Good food and drinks in a surprisingly small venue. Nice to wlak to it along the 18th and 17th of the old course. We had a nook to ourselves and the staff were friendly and knowlegable.

Just what a great little pub should be with all the nostalgia of the golf from years gone by at St. Andrews

Jigger Inn is closed to 17th Hole Old Course . It's a pub with tons of character . Love the place . Great outdoor seating area . Don't miss out this place when you visit St Andrew , Scotland.

Writing this review from the Jigger Inn, I'm again impressed how quaint and cozy it is, even though it is attached to a very luxurious and modern hotel. I spent an afternoon here my last trip to St. Andrews and will continue to visit here on future trips. There have an excellent outdoor seating area -- right along side the... More

We were recommended by a friend to head for here on our day trip to St Andrews. We had a hearty lunch that was very good value. My tabouleh and roasted veg could have improved with a touch of Balsamic glaze, my son's burger was very good and the service warm and friendly. The ladies' room was nicer than in... More
