Perhaps I expected too much since Mr Kohler took over the Duke's (having been blown away by American Club visits in Wisconsin since it opened in the 80s.) Views are great. The course is fine. But the course conditions left a lot to be desired, especially given the world class competition from Crail, St Andrews Links, Kingsbarns, etc. Pathways between... More

Took a Golf Lesson at the Duke's Club. Amazing Views, Beautiful Club, Great Pro Shop. The golf pro gave me practical advise that I was able to put into my game right away.

Disappointed that at 5.40pm on a Saturday the halfway house was closed so no refreshments could be bought for the back 9. Also when finishing just before 8pm the restaurant was no longer open which 8 of us would have been happy to use. Other than these minor grumbles the course itself was very good and challenging without being overly... More

Good test of golf, long walks between green and tee so buggy recommended if you can afford one, nice greens, fairways average but this may have been down to worse than average rainfall, tough approaches to greens but in all worth a visit

First time playing the course and really enjoyed it. Staff were all extremely helpful and starter explained about yardages in simple, clear manner before tee-off. The course itself is tricky in parts but on the whole it is a wonderful golf experience. Strategically placed fairway bunkers, well groomed fairways and true greens make The Duke's well worth a visit. I... More

Our family group of three, age range from 10 to 60, turned up wet and tired from a halfway through the final leg of the Way of St Andrews long hike at the club house. Although my boots were the mudiest my wife told me to go in to see if they would possibly allow us or to buy some... More

We were invited by some friends to have coffee there. The service provided, from walking in, to leaving, was just the BEST! The owners should be very proud of their employees.
