A wet day so this was somewhere to escape the weather for a while. We were welcomed at the door and introduced to the ground floor exhibits by a lovely lady. The house itself and the displays are very interesting and you do not have to be a local to enjoy them. There is also a lovely garden at the... More

This is a delightful little museum. Downstairs there is a display of Aikman and Terras, an old fashioned grocers shop which served St Andrews for many years. There are many fascinating old items on display from food shopping in the past. There is also a display of dentistry in St Andrews with the most horrific looking tools used by old... More

I thought this was the best museum in St. Andrews. If I may say, also the smallest. It a litter cluttered and almost like an antique shop, wish it was. There is so much interesting things to see. A plunge into the small fisherman town St Andrews used to be. The personnel is kind and friendly, too.

This is a small, but packed with interesting things, museum. I would recommend a visit for anyone who makes it to St.Andrews. It is free but leave a wee donation to make sure it stays open for our delight.

A charming little museum that is also free to enter. Showcases the history of common life over the past few centuries in Fife and St Andrews in particular. A cute little museum.

Quant museum with interesting local stories and artifacts. This is the people's museum which gives you an idea of the working people's history in the city.
