Visited Melrose Abbey and Rosslyn Chapel ( of Da Vinci code fame ) on a day coach tour from Edinburgh. Very good tour guide, informative and very helpful providing continuous commentary during the 7 hour tour. Coach was comfy and there were only 8 people on the tour. Also had a brief stop at Dobbies Garden centre for lunch and... More

Both these tours were fantastic. The organisation of Gray Lines tours was excellent. Pick ups where on time, an important factor in the winter months. Our Driver/Guide, Graham, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and informative and eloquently able to conduct the tours. He was helpful in the extreme. Both tours were breathtaking and memorable. We loved them and would recommend... More

This tour would have been just okay without him, but with Brian as our guide it was great! He was knowledgeable about the areas we were driving through and about Scotland's history--past and present. We don't normally do bus tours as we like to explore things on our own, but since we did not have a car, we decided to... More

We booked two tours through Gray Line. The first tour was the Loch Lomond and Highlands Tour. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Graham was a WONDERFUL guide and was very easy-going and laid-back. One of the best tours we've taken and definitely a highlight on our trip. The next day we took the Loch Ness and the Highlands tour. I forget what... More

We took the Loch Ness & Highlands Tour. We were picked up and dropped off by the coach right in front of our hotel, how convenient! Graham, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and quite entertaining. The tour was filled with some of the most Amazing sites I have ever seen. We were in awe of the views. the... More

Graham did a great job on this tour and made it entertaining, the tour is very long 12 hours so it's not the easiest as 80 percent is riding on the bus. They should consider making two stops on the way back.

Thank you for your review. We often refer to this tour as "Scotland in day" due to the amount of miles we cover from Edinburgh to Loch Ness and we are unable to make more stops on the return journey as this would make the tour even longer; which would impact on the amount of legal driving hours. It's great... More

We 3 took the highland, loch ness tour from gray line. Tour started from 07.45 and finished around 9.00PM. This was the long journey spending almost 70% of the time in coach. It should be called as sitting and seeing scenery tour. The tour didn't include cruise tour in loch ness. If you didn't pay for cruise. Nothing to do... More

By far the best things about their tour services is 1. The drivers are very personable and 2. They will try to pick you up from your hotel or get as close to it as possible as well as drop you off at the end of the day. The first tour we did was the whiskey tour; we went to... More

My parents and I had a fantastic day in the highlands yesterday. Brian was outstanding - a incredibly knowledgable passionate man who ensured we left his coach touched by what we experienced in the previous 12 hours. I took two tours thru Viator on my trip to Edinburgh. Viator uses Gray Line bus tours . One was 12 hours! We went toLoch Ness and the Highlands. The driver/tour guide was informative but he talked almost non stop. Why on the world this company doesn't use audio is beyond comprehension. The second tour we did was to Stirling... More
