Although I found Edinburgh very compact to walk around, I always take a tour to learn about the sites and history. “The best hop and go tour”

This bus is the best tour. We had a 2 day pass. A live tour guide points out the sights. We had Grant one day. I recommend him. As this was my first visit, I found that completing the tour was a good way to plan the rest of the day. Closest to the start point is the national portrait gallery which has an extremely impressive collection of old masters. “5 in 1 ticket best value”

good way to see the sights of this lovely city.The 5 tours with one ticket is the best value a few pounds more than the price of one, although you may see some of the sights several times. Good way of finding your way around the city and able to jump on and of as you wish

Great way to see the city with informative and funny commentary. Brave the open air top floor if it's a nice day to get great views and photo opportunities.
