Having heard so much about the dungeons we decided to go on our recent trip to Edinburgh. There was a large group of us and as we went through the different rooms we were picked out to take part in various things and interact with the actors. It was really fun and we actually learnt about some of the history... More

I went to the Edinburgh Dungeons on Market street with my husband and son 7yrs 2 weeks ago. What a fantastic attraction. The actors were first class, the atmosphere created was very authentic and there were some great historical facts along the way. My son in particular loved the ride at the end and we've laughed for weeks about the... More

A great way to spend 1.5 hours, with kids who grew tired of seeing castles and museums. Visitors are taken through a "Guided tour" in the real, ancient, dark and spooky dungeons of the city. This "tour" is anything but traditional. The true stories of the past are brought to life by the actors and the special effects that keep... More

We went to the dungeons today and we bought the online deal with a meal in hard rock cafe included. It was great value for money. I did think the girl taking the photos as we went in was a little rude and just wanted it done and to gst us out the way as quickly as possible though. She... More

Corny overacting floats is abounds in this attraction! They adapt to the crowd that's in so there is some ad libbing which was good to hear. It's a giggle but read a book if you want a history lesson. Remember to smile when you least expect it! Tip: If you need the toilet go before the start of the tour... More

We visited the dungeons today with a voucher cloud offer and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute the actors did a great job of getting a laugh and a scream out of everyone! Highly recommend a visit!

I booked online to see this attraction, and it cost £15. The website reckons that if you book online then you will not have to queue, but there was only one queue whether you had a ticket already or not. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like this is a very popular attraction as there was hardly any queue. I didn't receive... More

We do not state at any point that you will not have to queue - the priority entrance is just that, you receive priority over the main queueline. The website states clearly that there... More

Great family outing with lots of amusing characters and laugh out loud moments. Our group had an age range 16 - 70 years and everyone found the event enjoyable. We also had hilarious photos to take away as great memories of our day out!
