We (family of 5) took this tour in July. The weather was a little dicey, but Alan made it fun and filling. We would highly recommend this tour for families wanting to see a different side of Edinburgh.

The tour was very good. I had the opportunity to understand more about whisk. The walk with Alan in the side streets of Edinburgh was very interesting ans taught me more about the history. And of course the diversity of food - I tried for the first time the Hagis. Highly recomended!

We (family of 8) had a great time on this food tour. Great variety of food and drink to try, and a fun walking tour throughout the city. All of my family members on the tour felt this was one of the highlights of our stay in Edinburgh. I highly recommend Eat Walk Edinburgh if you are traveling to Edinburgh.

This is an absolute must-do for everybody interested in the food or history or culture of Scotland, so I guess for basically every tourist. And I am quite sure that even locals could really benefit from Alan's knowledge. I was the only person on the tour that day, probably because there was so much going on during the festival. So... What a terrific experience this tour was...thoroughly enjoyed every minute of every hour. We walked Old Town and New Town, visited unique and wonderful shops and restaurants. Julie did a terrific job sharing her knowledge of Edinburgh's history. I think this rates at the top of our list for enjoyment and learning at the same time. Would highly recommend this... More

This was my favorite tour! My first visit to Edinburg and everyone on my tour was from Edinburgh. Great food and drinks, especially the whiskey. Unique and interesting places and full of history.

Hi Thank you for the great review. We do get locals on our tours and I'm pleased to say they often haven't been to all of the venues we show them on the tour. Thanks Alan More

What a great way to see and learn about the city AND the food. We enjoyed our experience a lot, well done. We have been on food tours in many countries of the world, it's a highly recommended way to get started in a new location.

It was our first visit to Edinburgh and on our first evening we had booked this eat walk tour. It was great. We got to know a good section of the city and try a few eateries along the way. Our guide Alan was very knowledgeable about the local area and places to visit and eat. There was plenty to... More

Hi Thank you for the lovely review. The map we give out at the end of the tour is very useful as not only does it show the places visited but also any discounts or special offers the venues give to those on the tour. Plus on the back of the map we have a few suggestions of other places... More
