Such a great tour with great food and drink and history if Edinburgh ! We would highly recommend ! In fact we did and some friends of ours did the brunch tour and really enjoyed it as well. The tour took us to places that we never would have found on our own.

I and my aunt arranged a trip up to Edinburgh. I did a little research before we set off and found this Eat Walk tour. I thought it would be an excellent way to see the sights and take in some of the local food and drink and what a fab experience. Alan was a fab guide and I would... More

I did this review with my husband in October and it was a lot of fun. I say that as someone who is a foodie and who goes on many food walking tours. I enjoyed the combination of food, drink, and history. Edinburgh has some tasty eats and that was well showcased by the tour. I also liked how it... More

Hi Thanks for your lovely review. The tour you went explores other areas of the Old Town and takes time walking through the New Town showing some great places to eat and drink away from the busier Royal Mile. Alan More

Food tours are an excellent way to see a city and taste some of the local delicacies and Alan's Eat Walk tour does not disappoint. Alan was very knowledgeable, giving us some great hints for places to eat while staying in Edinburgh. The food and drink we tasted along the way was delicious. A highlight of my stay in Edinburgh,... Food tours are my new favorite form of tourism and Alan's Edinburgh tour was a real treat. The perfect mix of history, chat, food, and drink. A great introduction to Edinburgh. Totally recommend!

This tour was absolutely wonderful! our guide was fantastic, and was so very knowledgeable! The food was amazing, and we ended up going back to several of the places on our own. (they gave us a helpful map so we could visit back if we wanted!) The Whiskey place was fantastic, and my boyfriend still raves about the bottle I... More

Hi Thank you for taking the time to write a review it is greatly appreciated. I am pleased you had time to og back and visit some of the places we visited on the tour. The single cask malt whisky from the Scottish malt whisky society is something special. Alan More

Alan is very kind and open minded. Unless I was the only guest he realized the tour and I learned more about EDI and the people than in all the time before. I would always book this tour again unless the spots maybe won't change. Also the people in the shops were very friendly and explained a lot about their... More

We were so lucky to have Allan all to ourselves today during our food tour. I would say hands down this was the best way to visit Edinburgh. Allan's great knowledge and personal demeanour made the tour very enjoyable. Our only regret was we didn't make this the first thing we did in town. We have such a big list... More

We did one of the shopping cum breakfast tours in the morning. We were on our own with the tour guide, which wasn't a problem, just a different sort of experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. We enjoyed discovering shops we would never have found otherwise and I did most of my Christmas shopping that day! We enjoyed the bits... More

Alan's innovative walk/eat tour in Edinburgh is the perfect way to discover just how good the food is in Scotland. My first real taste of haggis, I learnt how to drink whisky properly and cranachan ought to be compulsory on any dessert menu. Julie took our tastebuds on tour and gave us some wonderful history of Edinburgh and Scotland. What... More
