We loved the walking tour. We were able to see and experience the vibrancy of the city with stops at the local pubs and restaurants to include tasting and drinking the local Scottish fare. The trip was a great way to see the city and well worth the price.

We are friends from Sweden, traveling together visiting different cities. This was a very good way getting to know Edinburgh. We fully enjoyed the tour with Alan as our guide. The food and drinks were excellent and the restaurants and places all unique. My husband even got glutenfree dishes which he appreciated.

I actually wish we were able to do the tour right when we got to Edinburgh, because we would've stopped at more places that they suggested or gone back. It wasn't just a food tour either! The tour guide gave us the history of several buildings and was knowledgeable about all our random questions. Old Town was great and I... More

The Eat n Walk Edinburg tour was superlative. All the stops were full of interesting history and the restaurants / food were very good. Our tour guide was very good and her talk kept us all engaged. We also had the best Haggis in an exclusive Whisky society. Of course with whisky as well. One of the highlights of our... More

The first time we've done this sort of tour leaving us wanting to try similar tours elsewhere. The tour lasted almost 4 hours with 5 dishes and several drinks. Smaller taster plates were a nicer way of trying new and different foods and broke up all the walking. It was a different way of seeing the city with a personal... More

Greatly appreciate you taking the time to write a review and pleased to hear you enjoyed the tour. Most people do find the tasting plates filling enough but one or two have commented they did have a snack later in the day but didn't need a main meal. More

Great tour, great food (with the exception of the meat balls). We especially enjoyed the neeps and tatties with a wee dram at the whisky society.

I just went on the walking tour of Edinburgh with our guide Alan. We walked about two miles through Old and New Towns tasting local food and drink. Please be advised you are eating local cuisine, so there will be haggis on this trip! :) I, although, told Alan beforehand that I was a vegetarian, so I received the veggie... More

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to write a review and I am glad you enjoyed the tour. We do taste a lot of Scottish prodcue and it gives people the chance to try things they maybe too scared to order from the menu. There are three drink tastings and with five food tastings on the tour. I understand... More
