I find the whole idea of a street beneath a street slightly mind boggling - we all really enjoyed it and learnt a lot! Great guides, fascinating topic and brill exhibition - really worth a visit !

Visited on Saturday 28th March. The guide was excellent was really in character. The whole experience was brilliant could have done it all again felt could have been longer .would love to visit again

The trip shows you fascinating and very ancient houses and a narrow street from medieval times which were covered over with later buildings from the 1600s onwards. The trip was narrated by a woman in period costume who told us about life in medieval times from the perspective of someone who might have lived in the street in those days.... More

I have been to Edinburgh a few times now and have always been intrigued by Mary King's Court. I thought it was great value and a very interesting and fun hour beneath the streets of the city. My husband and I visited Mary kings close on a trip to Edinburgh, our guide was fantastic it was like going back in time very fascinating. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit this while in Edinburgh.

Went there with a friend thinking this would be an "school" type historical tour. We were positively surprised when the guide (Chris T) turned out to be really funny. Great for friends and families.

If you are expecting a ghost tour then this is not the one for you. The tour is a bit of fun with lots of historical facts to do with The closes in Edinburgh and was fascinating to see how people lived in olden days. The guides keep your attention as you move from room to room and from close... More
