I loved this pub, it's totally themed and the decor and atmosphere was wonderful. It was not busy when we visited but there is so much to see, so many nooks and crannys definitely worth a visit

I went to The Jekyll and Hyde a few times over the festival period, but in particular I went to see James Loveridge on Saturday 23rd of August. After having an excellent evening I thought I would come on and give the bar a great review however was shocked to see some of the negative ones. The bar was relitively... More

I visited Jekyll & Hyde Pub on Friday 8th August 2014 at around 3pm to meet my parents for a drink before grabbing a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant. Unfortunately we will never visit here again due to the poor attitude and behaviour from one of the bar staff. I was speaking to a friend on my mobile... More

Gothic is my thing so it was a must to visit this place on our trip to Edinburgh back in 2012. The interior is so quirky! Deadly sins cocktails were yummy and not badly priced either.

My husband stood at the bar for over 15 minutes yesterday waiting to be served - the female bartender deliberately avoided eye contact with him, even though it was obvious he was waiting for a drink (the whole place was pretty much dead). He thought maybe they might be busy, so he waiting for them to finish cleaning the glasses,... More

We visited this pub during the 2014 Fringe Festival for one of the festival's free comedy shows. The show took place in the basement which guaranteed a great atmosphere! The drinks were good as well and the prices areasonable - 4 pounds for a cocktail (rather simple cocktail but still good!). Staff seemed a bit stressed but was still friendly.... More

We visited the pub after seeing it from one of the tours. So glad we did! It was excellent. Really good atmosphere and the cocktails were good. Got served really quickly too which is good. We stayed for ages!!! Would definitely recommend.

I came in just for a few drinks before going elsewhere for a meal but then after looking at the menu we decided to stay for food as well, this was brilliant, the food and drink and were lovely, the pub looks amazing and has a great feel to it. The music was exactly what i love. Both me and... More

There seems to have been a lot of changes to this place. There's never any events on anymore: no DJs, no bands and no movie nights. Lots of new staff and most of them seem a little glum, the music policy has changed from metal and rock to some kind of generic mish mash which seems to feature a lot... More

Called into this Gothic themed pub for a couple of pints before having dinner nearby. The front room of the pub is painted with black paint and various curious objects hanging from the ceiling and the staff appropriately dressed to complete the spooky theme. However the customers and the menu appeared to me quite normal, which looked to be very... More
