We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Peter. We did the one incorporating the old and new town and it took us to so many places that we'd have missed without the tour. It also meant that we knew our way around the city for the rest of our trip. We went off the main streets and learnt a lot about... More

Took a tour with Peter Hamilton and had such a great day out, despite the weather. I learnt so many things about the city of my birth and its history that I did not know. Peter's knowledge is extensive and is conveyed clearly and on occasion with no little humour. I have no doubt I could have spent many more... More

Peter was in our neighborhood the day before our scheduled tour and he took the time to give us a mini tour of Greyfriars on our way to the Spoon Cafe, where JK Rowling wrote. This was a great opportunity to pull out a map and strategize our next day. We asked to see Dean Village and we were not... More

Our guide, Peter was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we met up with him, he took us on a fantastic tour around Edinburgh blending all types of history with modern facts and fun anecdotes. Very helpful when booking and great value for money - it was only myself and my partner so it was great to really connect with the... More

Booked two walking tours during festival.Tale of two towns with Eric was a great introduction to the city and gave us lots of ideas for further sightseeing.Mary Queen of Scots with Peter was great fun in the way that he presented it like a debate of the circumstances of her life which provoked interaction and exchange of views among the... What a fantastic introduction to Edinburgh! Our guide, Peter, was engaging, friendly and very knowledgeable. This tour really helped us to make the most of our time in Edinburgh - learning about Old and New Town: the history, the architecture, famous historical characters, plus some great tips on museums to check out, walks to take for the best views of... My husband and I booked a walking tour with Peter and we were so glad we did! He was very knowledgable and very entertaining! We learned so much from the time we spent with him! He was also very flexible about where we wanted to meet him and where we wanted to end the tour! I would highly recommend booking... More

We really enjoyed our walking tour with Peter. He picked us up in New Town at the flat we had rented and then walked us around new town, old town, grass market and catered the tour to our interests and tastes. He was informative and a pleasure to talk with during our tour. He was also very prompt in getting... More

We booked a private tour with Peter and really pleased we did so. If you love history then definitely try this. Peter met us in our hotel reception and we discussed what the tour would involve. We saw many things that we wouldn't have seen just wandering around ourselves and all the historical facts were fascinating. This tour is suitable... More

Peter took the four of us on an excellent guided tour through Edinburgh. He was funny, entertaining and informative the whole way. He even adapted the tour to fit into what we had previously seen and were planning to do so we didn't receive the same information twice. Would highly recommend!
