My husband and I visited the Royal Yacht Britannia and were very impressed. The tour took about an hour and a half, guided by an audio device. The staff were very friendly and helpful and answered any further queries we had. The yacht itself is very understated and was not what we expected at all - really lovely. There is... More

Excellent place to visit! We spent several hours wandering around listening to the complimentary audio guide. A sense of looking at a real royal 'home' at sea. The stewards were well informed and extremely helpful. We treated ourselves to a visit to the cafe on the middle deck. It was not nearly as expensive as you would expect and the... More

This Attraction was fab. from start to finish. Give yourself at least 3 hours to enjoy and to take it all in. Even though we went on the bank holidayweekend with lots of tourists, it didn t seem crowded. Go early and have tea and scones on board its a real treat.

If you are interested in how the Royal family used the Royal Yacht Brittania and what the differences were between their accommodation and that of the junior yachtsmen you will find this exhibition really worth while. It is an enjoyable couple of hours, more if you eat in the excellent tea rooms on board. It is easy to get to... More

Did the tour of the ship which was extremely interesting and was more in depth than I imagined that it would be. Well worth a visit. No doubt it is a bit of a seasonal attraction that makes the food, refreshments and souvenirs not the cheapest in the world. However, a good resting place for a marvelous vessel.

Located in Leith and easily accessible by car or public transport, you enter the yacht via the shopping centre, which is a bit surreal. The personal audio systems allow you to venture round the yacht at your own pace and there are many areas to view, preserved as they were when the British Royals, used the yacht. If you want... More

Interesting to visit the Royal Yacht and see how the royals holidayed. Was very easy to follow through and we did enjoy have tea and scones. The staff were always helpful and would answer questions readily.

After visiting several castles in Scotland, the visit to the Royal Yacht was something different and fascinating. I enjoyed every minute.
