One of the best mornings ever spent visiting the Royal Yacht Britannia. This really has the WOW factor and you can use your camera in every room. The Queen's drawing room is just one of the many highlights and there's only one double bed on board (the honeymoon suite). Crew accommodation could not be more different from that of the... More

We have just visited the Royal Yacht Britannia and some what disappointed with the tea room no scones so no Cream Tea. A bit out of the way (from everything else), this is nevertheless worth the effort for the unique insight you get into Royal-style holidays. Not as expensive as some other Edinburgh attractions - and if you Gift Aid you get an Annual Pass.

Quite an experience to step aboard The Royal Yacht. Very friendly and helpful staff and the audio tour was really well done and extremely interesting. Quite thrilling to feel like you are experiencing something so historic and regal. Tea and victoria sponge in the tea room is a must!

Free parking outside Debenhams. Quick moving queue. Amazingly helpful staff who spotted my elderly mother in law with a stick. They asked her through past the queue to more comfortable seating and then got her a wheel chair as they said it might be too much of a walk for her. So thoughtful. Wonderful photos everywhere, Easy and interesting audio... More

As it's a self tour with a handset for information, you can take as long or as little time as you like to do the tour. Engine and laundry rooms were fascinating.
