This is certainly worth a visit. Didn't know it was here in Edinburgh until we got here. Spent over two hours going round, lots of memories, a very well laid-out exhibition and lots to see. Also has free parking as it is part of a shopping complex. A good day out from the city centre.

Visited this attraction on a gloomy afternoon. We were met with a warm and professional welcome by very pleasant staff. The self led tour, guided by easily operated hand held multi language gizmos, was informative, never long-winded, boring, or patronising. We enjoyed the visit very much, and were surprised by Her Majesty's choice of decor: there was lot less evidence... More

Great to hear how much you enjoyed the complimentary audio tour of Britannia – it really does help bring the ship to life. We hope you will apply for your free Annual Pass to come back and visit as often as you like over the next 12 months, with 15% off in the Tea Room and Gift Shop. Many thanks... More

Liked the in depth view of the working ship and the beautiful decor. Liked having tea and scones in the on board dining room.

All your expections - and some more - are being fulfilled on board this great, royal ship! We had breakfast in the dining room, watched the queens cabin with her singel bed, the large "dining room" were all the famous presidents, ministers and other guests have been dining through the years, and not to forget, the cabins were up to... This is such a great attraction, with so much to explore and see! Even if your not a fan of the royal family, there is unusual furniture, interesting decor, global artefacts, additional boats and more. All topped off with a lovely oversized fruit scone in the tea room :) this is definitely a must-see!!!

Attached to a shopping mall in Leith, the port where our ship was berthed, the Britannia was within walking distance so we could drop off our luggage and visit the Britannia before we embarked. Considering the occupants, the décor was remarkably un-royal, and it was obvious the family used and enjoyed it many times. It is now available for business... More

You won't find a better attraction - just go! Allow at least half a day. The restaurant is lovely and the food is good so plan to eat on board The Royal Yacht. We bought nice fudge in the NAAFI. Staff everywhere were brilliant. The hand held audio guides worked very well.

I will start by saying this ship should still be at see serving the country and the Royal Family. But it isn't and instead provides mere mortals with a glimpse behind the scenes of this glamorous ship. The entire experience is well set out with audio guides which lead you throughout your tour. You go at your own speed and... More

Exhibits clearly displayed with a headset tour that was both interesting and informative. Very easy access. Lovely lunch in the deck restaurant.
