Great attraction to visit and lots fo things to see. Had lunch in the tea room which was had excellent food.
Spend your hard earned on something better than this over priced waste of UK tax payers money, Unless you are really into royalty or boats then just avoid. £12.75p ( GBP ) for an adult and £7.75p ( GBP ) for kids - 2014 price. If 2-3 hours on a static boat is your idea of fun then carry on... More
Easy to get to by by local bus service which is frequent and on time. The yacht itself is a great way to spend an afternoon, the fact that you take the tour at your own pace and can linger when and where you want to is a bonus. Staff that are aboard the yacht are friendly and courteous. Good... More
Found the whole experience very interesting and informative. Staff were really helpful and professional. Great way to spend a couple of hours. We walked from the town centre and it was a reasonably long way ( took around 35 mins). Plenty of buses head in that direction.
The initial greeting was friendly, professional and engaging. A very well organised operation meant that interest was maintained throughout and the staff were both immaculately turned out and focused on ensuring visitor satisfaction. The handsets were easy to use and the pre-recorded commentary appropriately informative. I recommend sampling the delights of the onboard catering - reminiscent of service from a... More
Loved everything about the yacht. Had tea and scone in the Royal Tea room served by excellent staff. Donate your entrance and get to go back within one year for free. Very impressive, can see why the Queen loved this yacht.

The hand held audio tour lets you take in all the aspects and some history of the ship at your own pace. The furniture etc. give a good impression of what being aboard must have been like. My only complaint is that you could not get a good photo of the whole ship from the port.
Wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed the insight into life on board for both the crew and the Royal Family. As you mention, it can feel like stepping back into the 1950’s as 95% of the items, including furniture, are original to the ship and kindly on loan from the Royal Collection. Thank you for visiting while you were... More
