This was a complete waste of £14 per person. The so called 'commentary' is via headphones. There is also a small screen with a text ( supposedly) mentioning points of interest. The text told you nothing worth knowing. The 'tour' set off from the Royal Mile. The woman driver said the tour would last approx 2 hrs. I don't think... More

Excellent value for the 24 hour ticket. The bus takes you all around the city and with the guide telling you so much information. You see places that you would not perhaps go to.

Excellent service with lots of funny and interesting information. Cheap prices. Good locations and stops. Would recommend to anyone travelling anywhere around the world to go on these great bus tours.

The worst £14 you'll ever spend in your life. You'll regret wasting £14 on this bus tour, to simply be driven through distasteful sites of Edinburgh. The hop off sites are disappointing and if you're wanting to go to the gardens or harbour (the highlight of the tour which was frankly rubbish) I would recommend getting the local bus, or... More

We took the bus tour and paid for the four tour ticket. We took the "mac" tour to hollyrood and had a wander around. The commentary from the on-board guide was informative and at time quite amusing. We picked up the green tour on the way back and saw a little more of the city. Unfortunately we ran out of... More

Enjoyed a 48 hour bus pass which included a Royal Edinburgh ticket with entry to Palace of Holyrood, Britannia and Edinburgh Castle and access to all five bus tours. The jump on and off convenience allows you the time you want at different places. On my MacTour I spent a lot of time chatting to the guide who was friendly... More

I've always wanted to go on the open-topped bus tour and it was a very interesting and jolly affair. The commentary from our easy-to-listen-to and friendly guide with lots of information about old and newer Edinburgh with jokes throughout, was informative and easily heard from the back of the bus. It was good to find out some new things abut... More

We chose a bus tour of Edinburgh with Evelyn as the "live" English speaking guide/narrator, instead of the typical Hop On, Hop Off with the recorded commentary. She was brilliant - informative and very funny! We enjoyed our trip around Edinburgh. The ride is a bit pricy though, even with a senior's discount the cost was 13 pounds. You are... More

12 hour tour with a great driver cum guide having in depth knowledge of the highlands."Al" was our driver cum guide and kept everybody entertained with his jokes and humour. The stops were in beautiful Scottish towns and near lakes and mountains. There were a number of photo stops near beautiful landscapes which was very satisfying. We never felt rushing through the itinerary... I took two tours thru Viator on my trip to Edinburgh. Viator uses Gray Line bus tours . One was 12 hours! We went toLoch Ness and the Highlands. The driver/tour guide was informative but he talked almost non stop. Why on the world this company doesn't use audio is beyond comprehension. The second tour we did was to Stirling... More
