Tour of Argyll and Bute

Great trip with Matthew as our guide. Inveraray Castle was the best castle we saw during our trip. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.

We only had a day available for a tour of Edinburgh and decided to treat ourselves to a tour of the Scottish Borders by Discreet Scotland. Matthew was amazing and our comfortable ride in his Land Rover was definitely a plus! It was a relaxing but amazing one day tour and we were able to visit the ruins of Melrose... More

Matthew started off our planned tour of whiskey distilleries by giving us an overview of Scotland starting with its geologic beginnings and moving forward to its current place in the world. We had selected the tour that would include three distilleries with a visit to the smallest, Edradour. While we were traveling to Edradour, I may have casually mentioned that... More

Hands down one of the best experiences in Scotland. Our guide Matthew was BEYOND knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He explained about the history of Scotland, the sights, the landscapes, everything. He was extremely accommodating and knew all the best spots, view points, etc. He came to pick us up in a range rover (very comfortable, wasn't expecting that) and took... More

Just back from a day in the Range Rover with owner Matthew. My husband Rob and I feel like we have a terrific sense of the country and its history. Can't believe how much ground we covered in one day. James disappeared to eat a sandwich in the car while Rob and I had lunch at a pub.

We would like to thank Discreet Scotland for our wonderful trip to Scotland! We were really lucky to have such an amazing guide as Jim. We fell in love with beautiful Scotland and nice Scottish people thanks to Jim. He told us so many interesting things, he showed us such picturesque places, he was like grandfather to our little daughter... More

When we first booked this tour, I was slightly apprehensive about spending days at a time in a car with someone I didn't know. I couldn't have been more wrong. Jim Paris made me and my wife feel like members of the family. His easy manner, keen sense of humor and encyclopedic knowledge of Scottish history made this our most... More

I wanted a private tour for our party of four and booked Discreet Private Tours of Scotland. Our tour guide was Matthew McDonald White. He was so informative on Scottish history, and just fun to be with. The area up to and around Glencoe was just beautiful. We stopped at a lovely restaurant for lunch and had a burger from... More

My Wife and I were visiting London (from Florida) when I found this site on the internet. We are both fans of the TV show Outlander and they had an Outlander tour. Our guide was David King. He picked us up at the hotel and we went up into the highlands - saw the village and the 2 castles from... More

My wife and I and another couple spent a wonderful day with Matthew. We visited the observatory, St. Giles, Edinburgh Castle and Rosslyn Chapel along with a ton of other sites. Matthew was full of great information. Just the day before he gave a tour to a very well known country and western star. He plays a pretty mean fiddle!... More
