Thoroughly enjoyed our day in the highlands with the Hairy Coo! Great variety of stops and attractions we visited. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and constantly entertained us with stories and historical facts. We had a great amount of time at each spot, although some stops were not as enjoyable but depends on your interests. With the free tour you... More

We are exchange students in Edinburgh for a semester and were looking for a good way to get up to the highlands for some sightseeing. The Hairy Coo was absolutely amazing for us! As students, a tip-only tour is much appreciated and we are SO impressed with how our day went. Our tour guide Donald was friendly and informative and... More

I visited Edinburgh last December and took the Hairy Coo tour, which a friend of mine had recommended. Although the weather was rainy the day of the tour, we had a great time. Our guide, Donald, showed us many beautiful places along the way to the Highlands, and told us about the history of Scotland in a very enthusiastic and... More

My wife and I have been on this trip multiple times and it is just amazing to see Scotland on this tour. The tour provided us with information about Scotland in general and you get to ride in a cute bus with multiple stops in between. Very nice indeed.

One of the BEST day trips our family has ever taken. We enjoyed the whole day. The guide/owner was so informative. He was easy to understand and very enjoyable. We cant wait to go on the New tour of Lock Ness.

The Hairy coo is a great company and offers an awesome free tour. The full day tour is totally worth it and you get to ride in a cute bus that looks like a hairy coo! Donald was our tour guide and I loved that he could talk and tell stories for the entire journey. He was very fun and... More

Listen. Listen to me very closely. I am a forensic psychologist working for DHS. I do not "like" anything. I "see" everything. I scrutinize everything. I am suspicious of everything. I am trained to spot flaws in things and see right through things. I believe in quality. I believe in value. When I tell you that the time Donald spent... More

This was my most favorite tour at the UK. Donald was awesome!! Knows history so well he makes a clear image of everything with his great descriptions. His sarcastic and funny. Love his Scottish (sarcastic) way to talk about Britain. This makes even more memorable for our first time visiting this fabulous country. Thanks for everything it was awesome.

I went there with my wife and two teen girls. The tour guide "Don" was very helpful and always had a good story to share. The places we visited we're fantastic in spite the bad winter weather. I really recommend this tour if you are in Edinburgh.

I really enjoyed the one day Hairy Coo tour. Though it was December and we did not have a lot of daylight, we managed to spend some good time with the adorable coos, as well as seeing some castles, monuments and the loch. I would have liked to spend more time at the loch/in the highlands, but again we were... More
