The distillery is situated in a very small, picturesque village. We visited the distillery on a Wednesday afternoon, the tour cost £6.00 each but came with a £5 voucher each to use in the shop. There were only two other people on the tour, a Spanish couple and the guide took his time so they could read the Spanish translation... More

I found the Glenkinchie Distillery to be an excellent attraction and well worth a visit. The pricing is reasonable, staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the tour is very informative. I think a look around the exhibition, the tour and then the tasting were all excellent aspects of my day and all should be included if you visit. The gift... More

Excellent distillery visit if you are only in Scotland for a short while and not going further north or to Islay or any of the other many locations of distilling of the amber nectar. Not far from Edinburgh - we went by car but I believe you can arrange visits direct - not too much in a taxi but don't... More

If you are staying in Edinburgh it is a very quick drive. The facilities are great and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. They also give you a £5.00 voucher redeemable against purchase in the store! Must do if you are in Edinburgh for a few days! More

I dropped by the Glenkinchie Distillery on my way driving from Stirling to Edinburgh and was pleasantly surprised by the exhibition and friendly staff. The distillery is very nicely laid out and offers a great selection of well-priced whiskeys which you get £5 off of after doing the tour or exhibition. A definite stop, especially if you aren't heading north... More

Glenkinchie is a lovely little distillery close to Edinburgh. It's located in the low hills in the beautiful East Lothian countryside. Before the start of the tour there is an interesting exhibition and you have the opportunity to view the display of miniture version of the distillery. The guided tour is interesting and you can really understand the way whisky... More

I was a little surprised to find that there were no previous reviews on this Edinburgh and East Lothian attraction as it is a rare gem waiting to be discovered. Glenkinchie Distillery lies in a secluded valley just outside the picturesque village of Pencaitland and is definitely worth a visit at anytime of the year. As we went by car,... More
