Always enjoy visiting this park but not today however. No toilets available up at the animal park! Therefore no facilities for hand washing. According to staff the toilets have not been working due to lack of water for 4 days. Beggars belief why they did not hire port a loos. Especially for the Easter holiday period where lots of children... More

We enjoyed this place so much that its fitting to do a review the same day! The park isnt very far off the one way system and it could do with another signpost.after the signpost, follow the road to glasgow and its about 300 yards on the right.parking isnt what i would call plentiful but theres room for 50 or so... The nice thing about this park is that you can go in with your dog and you have several choices of areas to walk with it. Also, their is the animals for the kids to see. The fact they can get up so close to most of the animals is, an added bonus for them. This is also a popular... More

The castle is currently undergoing restoration and repair so it`s not fully open. Nevertheless what was available was very interesting. Made more so by a tour guide (Donna)who new her stuff. She talked us through the parts of the building we were able to visit and only once referred to a note regarding a date. Even with all the questions... More

I love visiting this park. Lovely walks, good that there are animals there and to top it off I love the cafe. I do visit often and is suitable for all.

Not sure if it's quite a tourist attraction but it's a lovely park with a great castle to visit. The cafe could do with being made a bit more cosy but it's council run so what do you expect. The space is wonderful and I am grateful to the council for it's upkeep.
